Dear Student,
Now that you are enrolled onto the MBA (top-up), you are required to submit a summary research
proposal to your supervisor for approval before you can proceed. Please read the guidance below
and complete the template for submission to your supervisor.
You have completed a research proposal as part of the OTHM Level 7 Diploma is Strategic
Management Leadership and you may decide to use this as a basis for your Consultancy Project.
Whether or not you decide to do so or start afresh, you are required to submit a summary proposal of
approximately 500 words (+/- 10%), which must be approved by your supervisor and comply with the
University of Chichester ethical guidelines.
Although this is not a long document, serious thought should be given to the content. A good project
proposal will save hours of work during the programme as it will develop initial focus for your project
report.
Your project proposal will be reviewed by your Supervisor prior to you commencing week 1 of the VLE
programme. It is at the discretion of your Supervisor as to when the proposal is fit for purpose and
your enrolment can be completed.
We advise you to have most of this in place (as an initial draft) prior to the induction week so you can
commence on time – that will allow you to take part in the workshop (webinar) sessions as opposed to
catching up.
 Your Project Proposal must be sent to your supervisor within two weeks from the date of your
enrolment letter.

 Your Project Proposal MUST be signed off by your supervisor before you can be
registered with the University of Chichester.

Project Description
Please explain the problem, issue or opportunity that the research will try to address. You need to

sector rates, whether the problem is getting worse, what consequences there are for the business

Digital currency is a means of currency denominated and recorded electronically. It has all the
features and properties of the physical currency. It can be used for exchange of value using
electronic cards and many other electronic devices, and can be stored electronically. The objective
of invention of currency was to find a comon means of exchange and storeing money value for
future use. With the revolution in the business and enhancement in technology, use of electronic
forms of transactions and transfer values have gaind a global importance. To enhance and ease the
use of electronic transaction and exchanges the Digital Currency can become a game changer.
Use of digital currency requires use of technology in all the fields where some financial or monetary
transactions are involved. Adoption of Digital Currency for the country like Brazil can become quite
challenging being a developing country. Literacy and familiarity with the use of electronic forms of
transactions are the two important prerequisits for the adoption of the Digital Currency. Hence, the
main problem for the contry in adoption of the Digital Currency would be its literacy and the
technological infrastructure. On the other hand, there is an wide opportunity for the country if the
Digital Currency could be adopted successfully. It will make the financial transactions easy and
ease the means of doing of business.

Brazil is a developinng country with a rapid growth in economy. In the last decade the country
experienced a rapid growth in their GDP having future potentials too. Business and trade is the
most important factor which contributes to the gross domestic producta and economic growth.
Adoption of technology in the business may help the country to develop their busienss towards
achieving a sustainable growth in economy. Hence, adoption of Digital Currency can be a very
significant initiative for the country to boost the economic growth of the country. In this research, the
opportunities for the Brazil and the issues in adoption of the Digital Currency will be evaluated and
analyzed with the help of empirical studies and evidences.

transaction, which will be analysed to find the opportunities for the adoption of the Digital Currency

Financial transactions and the electronic transaction of the country will be compared to find the
proportion of the total transactions that has been involved electronic transactions. Availability of the
Technological infrasture will be assessed from the technological development in the the country.
Suitable statistics and hypothesis will be used for making a conclusion and testing the significance
of thhe outcome.

The research is based on empirical evidences of the economic situations and the technological
infrastructure of the Brazil and to find the compatibility of the economic and technological
infrastructure of the country to adopt the Digital Currency. Hence, there is no such ethical issues
involved in the researsh except the data security. I affirm that only publicly available statistics and
data about the economic situation of the country will be used for the studies and no content will be
ther which will breach any of the public or private date security.
