Introduction
The capstone projects are being developed for improving the capabilities as well as skills of the
participants. Initially in have taken admission in the MBA program for gathering knowledge
regarding business administration and management capabilities. As I aim to develop my
professional career in the particular field, in that case, I have chosen this course so that my
management skills can get developed. By continuing this, it can be said that choosing the MBA
course I aimed to develop some leadership as well as professional qualities in mine so that my
career graph can be developed. The purpose of this study is to reflect on the learning capabilities
of mine. In the personal reflection thee skills as well as capabilities that have been gained by me
during the MBA course have been mentioned. In the end of the study, how the collected learning
abilities can influence my career growth, has been mentioned.
Summary of reflective capabilities and learning
The first week has critically analyzed different elements related to the strategic concept. The
industry change, dynamic capabilities, sustainable performance, strategic complexity, strategy
theories and competitive advantage are the important elements related to the positive business
outcome. During the week the strategic issues have been identified which mainly influences the
firms’ performance. The workshop has focused on highlighting the diverse range of theories that
enhances the knowledge of workplace. In terms of gaining the competitive advantage, low cost
and differentiation strategic initiative can drive the business growth of an organization. In terms
of highlighting the market and industry risk, in the workshop SWOT and PESTLE analysis have
been described. It is true that organizational performance cans significantly influences the
strategic direction of the company. In that case, balanced scorecard, resource based view and
distinctive capabilities have been described with the help of business model canvas. Therefore, it

can be said that this learning process has enhanced the critical thinking abilities of mine. In the
learning process theoretical, practical, implemental and reflective skills have been mentioned
which is essential for promoting the knowledge in the organizational context. In terms of solving
the complexity in the workplace, it is important for the participant to enhance their theoretical
knowledge on the particular theme (Bruner 2017).
The particular week has mentioned about analysis of financial statement that includes the
balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, fundamental assumptions and concepts
and analysis tools. As per my understanding, the greater financial intelligence can significantly
contribute in influencing the company performance. In terms of achieving the organizational
outcome, the financial result analysis quality is very important to be gained. During the week, the
learning has also focused on the understanding the significant contribution of the stakeholders in
business activities. In the emerging business environment, having the financial intelligence skill
has become necessary for understanding the financial statement. While developing the strong
relationship with the stakeholders for better financial outcome, communication can be
considered as an important skill that can contribute in presenting the situation in better manner in
front of the audience. In case of developing strong relationship with the stakeholders, praising
their diversities, I can interacting with them in better manner.
Governance, ethics and sustainability are also important part of this capstone project. During the
first week, knowledge regarding the mutual support and its contribution in the resource
utilization process has been described. The learning course has been developed based on the
skills like diligence, skill and care. In the evaluation of corporations four stages have been
highlighted in this particular week, those are fraternity, imperialism, identity and regulation.
While bringing any kind of regulatory changes in the organization, small group discussion is

very important where individuals get the chance for sharing their own opinion on the particular
situation. In case of taking the initiative for betterment, setting the smart goals are very
important for understanding the variety of directions for shining in the competitive business
environment.
While developing the independent study on the particular topic, it has been learned from the
week that understanding the financial statements, reviewing the information from research
articles, new releases, government publications and official company websites are needed for
developing a strong research assignment. While developing the particular project, the project
issues needed to be analyzed and based on the development of key research questions the
planning process can be generated (Dyson 2018). In case of summarizing the project, it can be
said that in case of describing the strategic planning process of an organization, internal, external
and operational activities needed to be analyzed using the theoretical explanations. Therefore,
research skill can be considered as the important part in the capstone project that taught the
ability to conduct the in depth analysis on the particular research paper.
In the emerging digital environment, digital literacy can be considered as an important capability
that significantly contributes in managing the competent decisions. Using the diverse digital
technology, it can be easier for me to bring the change effect in marketing world. On the other
hand, it is true that the web based marketing practices also needs the capability of digital skills,
that can help to generate better marks in the MBA project.
A personal reflection on learning from the capstone project
After involving myself in the project, various areas have been identified by me where I have
interest. This project has fueled my curiosity on some of the questions related to the business

practices. The study program has enhanced my entrepreneurial thinking abilities, where I got to
know about the various aspects of strategic concepts. Therefore, it can be said that during the
MBA course, I have got the chance to fulfill my ambitions. Thee administrative knowledge
regarding the business has been gathered by me. I have gained the knowledge regarding
functional areas of business operation, where I have gathered the knowledge about strategic
thinking. In this particular capstone project, it has been identified by me that the environmental
analysis is an important part in the strategic thinking project.
I have reviewed different academic research papers for improving my knowledge on the
particular research area. I have learned that while developing the project, time management can
be considered as the crucial part that has been learned by me. The MBA program has helped me
to select my own goals that has helped me in preparing my project within time. I have also
learned about a new skill called financial intelligence. During the week the strategic issues have
been identified which mainly influences the firms’ performance. The workshop has focused on
highlighting the diverse range of theories that enhances the knowledge of workplace. In terms of
gaining the competitive advantage, low cost and differentiation strategic initiative can drive the
business growth of an organization. It has been identified that in the corporate field, it is very
important for the entrepreneur to understand the financial data generated by the company. It is
true that the while getting involved into the MBA program, reviewing different study materials, I
have transferred my own thinking process into the project by using the additional resources. I
tried to select some of the important elements provided in the research materials so that I can
develop the paper by following all the elements that can help to support my learning framework.
While developing the framework for the particular project, I believe, group discussion is very
important. By meeting different group of people and communicating with them, I have got to

know about their opinion. By continuing this, it can be said that this project has project plan. It
has helped me to develop the professional model which has helped me to prepare the blueprint of
the project plan Due to the diversified nature among the group members, I have got the chance to
interact with different group of people that has enhanced my knowledge. On the other hand, my
mentor has helped me a lot for understanding the actual need for the project. I strongly believe,
this has helped me to learn about different capabilities which are very important in the
entrepreneurial field. I also believe, the MBA project has enhanced my perspectives on the
traditional as well as modern administrative practices, which are being followed in the
workplace.
A personal reflection in skills development over MBA
The MBA project has brought huge impact on the performance of mine. It has shaped my
knowledge on the business administration as well as strategic components. I genuinely believe,
without this knowledge I will not be able to establish my career as a successful manager or a
leader. It has been identified by me that during this project, my personality traits have got
developed. It has helped to develop the social, professional and personal etiquette that has
indirectly improved my presentation skill. It has made me calm and before making any opinion
on any topic I listen properly. Therefore, it can be said that this MBA course has improved my
body language as well as critical thinking skills, which are very important in both the
professional and academic field. I has also been learned by me that while developing any
business project it is important critically compare the information collected from both the
internal and external environment. In the emerging business environment, it has become
necessary to take decisions confidently. In this case, I have come out form my comfort zone and
made some important decisions related to the project. In the initial stage, due to lack of

understanding regarding the strategic component as well as improper problem solving abilities, it
was quite difficult for me to complete the assignment. However, during the MBA course, I have
acquired various skills and knowledge that has fostered my self-esteem and confidence. On the
other hand, it is also true that it has increased my communication skill. While discussing the
assignment related things with the group members, I have noticed that my interacting ability has
got increased. As I have previously described that during the MBA course, I have learned about
various theories related to the business decision making process. I have gathered the knowledge
regarding the strategic manipulation and problem solving that can help me to create alternative
strategies for promoting better solution in the workplace.
A personal reflection on how these will assist in future career development
It is true that the MBA project has helped me to learn about various entrepreneurial capabilities,
which are very important to be collected in the business context. By continuing this, it can also
be said that that the MBA course has enhanced my knowledge on technology. In the current era,
information technology has become an important element that promotes the communication with
the customers. On the other hand, it is true that I have also gathered the research skills, while
reviewing different resources related to the study area. Emotional intelligence skills are the
central part of the study area. It I true that the emotional intelligence skill that has been gathered
by me can significantly help me to establish my career as the good leader. I strongly believe, in
the 21st century, business environment has become diversified and in the diversified business
environment, cultural acceptance is an important capability that makes the person strong. If I will
get the chance to perform as manager or leader in an organization, using the emotional
intelligence skill that has been adopted by me I will try to understand individuals’ perspectives. I

have also mentioned that while performing in a team, my listening skills has got enhanced which
has made my respect towards others opinion.
It has helped me to enhance my cultural acceptance ability. I strongly believe, as the MBA
project has influenced my interactive nature, in that case, this skill can significantly develop my
presentation skill. The entrepreneurial skill that has been gathered by me during the course that
can help me to bring the betterment in my society. It cannot be ignored that due to the global
distance physical distance among the people has made disconnection among them. In this
situation, designing a standard software based application, I can be able to help people to come
close. On the other hand, I believe, sustainability is an important part in the current business
scenario. In that case, rather than imposing my hard decision on my coworkers, I will try to
identify the bottom line that can help me to meet the basic needs of my people.
It has also been identified by me that negotiable nature as well as compromising ability is very
important for providing the better future for the future generation. Therefore, in the competitive
global environment, maintaining transparency regarding my opinion as well as proper utilization
of resources can help me to manage the future risk in my profession. I strongly believe, ethical
approach is very important for developing a better career graph. In the business administration,
maintaining the ethical practice can help me to develop my personal trait which can help me to
establish my image as the ethical leader. On the other hand, in the globalized business
environment, maintaining the proper balance between administrative knowledge and technology
is very important. I believe, the MBA course has helped me to develop my knowledge on
software and hardware operations that can bring opportunities in my career graph.

Conclusion
I believe the MBA course can give me the business administrative knowledge and it can help me
to achieve my entrepreneurial ambitions in the long run. During this project I have shared my
idea with the group members, where I got to know about their opinion regarding my thinking
process. By continuing this, it can also be said that the course has helped me to understand the
strategic process that can help me to deal with the greater challenges in the long run. I have
gained the time management ability and presentation skill of mine has got improved. This skill
had helped me to represent my idea inform of audience. I believe, this program can improve my
leadership abilities, which can bring opportunities in my professional life.
