1Part : a)
Works on social skills
Working in teams in a classrooms helps in the following ways, firstly it helps in developing
social skills making groups in a school helps the students to actively listen to each other and
express ideas to others it also helps the students to corporate and adjust with new people and
this way the networking can start from classrooms (Gregory, 2013).
Personal development and understanding others
Teamwork helps the students to build confidence and self-esteem, it also exposes students to new
and way of things, which expands their knowledge and encourages their skills and talents.
Teamwork also helps the students to understand each other, which is an important skill to learn.
In Lora’s case, teamwork will help in understand Lora’s case better and it will make people more
aware her medical issues
Building a positive class environment
School can be boring sometimes, but group work encourages students and let them come out of
their normal routine, this makes the school more enjoyable for the students.
b) Teachers, parents and professionals
Many of the classrooms employ paraprofessionals and teaching assistants for the fundamental
classroom exercise. This thing actually frees up the time for the lead teacher and allows them to
focus on classrooms management and skill development of students. In order to make this
program effective, good communication and teamwork are an important part as the students get
the time and attention as required; each adult in the classroom are allotted with different duties
and responsibilities in order to create the activity in an organized manner. Parents also play a
very important role in student’s education, most importantly in the starting years. There are many
benefits when teachers and parents support children as a team, it motivates a student behavior
and their learning skills both in the classroom and at home. When students see teachers’ and
parents working as a team, they are able to learn the value of education both inside and outside

the classroom. If there is a good communication between the parents and the teachers, it helps in
meeting student’s need more easily (Wang, 2015).
Part 2: a)
There are various stages of team development
Forming stage
This stage starts with orientation and this stage has the highest risk and uncertainty. There is
always a leader who tell the team members what they have to do and what goal they have to
achieve whether it is an organization or a school and in this stage the members get to know
each other (Ingram, 2012)
Storming stage
This is one of the most important and critical stage of the team development. It is a stage where
there is conflict and competition on an individual level, the performance might reduce in this
stage cause unproductive activities takes place in this stage. Members in this stage may disagree
to the team goals. In this stage, the members are taught to overcome the problems and work
together
Norming stage
If the team passes the storming stage, in this stage, the conflicts are resolved and a unity among
the team emerges, in this the team understands their goal and try to solve their intrapersonal
differences. The tem performance increases during this stage. The team member learns to
corporate, adjust with the others, and try to focus on the team goals (Ainsworth, 2010)
Performing stage
In this stage the team there is a sense of matureness in the team and the teams starts to work in a
organized and ell functioning way. In this stage, every individual of the team is stable and the
members of the group are focused towards the goal of the organization. Problems and issues can
still emerge but they can be easily solved at this stage.

Adjourning stage
This is the last stage. By the time of this stage the team’s goal are achieved. This is the stage of
final of task and the members wait for results in these stage. As the workload get over the team
members are sent to another team (Hill and Farkas, 2001).
B) Collaborative teamwork
Group work and teamwork I the classroom help the students to learn various fundamental skills,
as this thing is associated with working together towards a common goal. These things give
students some valuable skills that help the students in long run, things such as: communication
skills, group effort, compromise etc. team work also teaches students resource allocation and
time management (Petty, 2019).

b) Person-centered approach is a therapy that allows the clients to take a lead in any discussions
so that they are able to know their own solutions in the process, in this approach the therapist is
considered as a facilitator that listens to people without judgment and admits the experience of a
client’s. The therapist helps in encouraging and supporting client’s process of self-discovery
(Frazer and Oswald, 2009).
In Lora’s situation, this approach will help her in self-actualization, which means better
understanding of self, this thing will help Lora to move forward, grow, and reach her potential or
goal. as self-actualization helps a person to learn to be concerned for others and behave in a very
dependable, honest and constructive ways. Self-actualization focuses on her strengths rather than
her problems or deficiencies. This approach will help her overcome her problems and it will give
her better understanding of the situation (O'Neill, Goffin and Gellatly, 2012).
