INTRODUCTION
Globalisation is the process that helps in the integration different economies,
governments, markets and people of the world in order to ease the business in the economy,
mainly with the increased interconnection of national and international economies. The
assignment will start with focusing on the aims and objectives, project management plan
covering the different aspects of the project, Gantt Chart and Work Break Down Structure will
be presented, small scale research will be carried out and along with this some recommendations
on the basis of data and research analysis will be given and lastly conclusion will be presented.
The assignment will try to address positive impact of cultural, economical and ethical impacts of
globalisation that impacts upon different functions of the business as operations, human resource,
accounting, marketing and some more functions of the business.
TASK 1
P1) Research Aims and Objectives
The company chosen for the completion of this assignment is McDonald's Company. It is
an American Multinational Company which was founded in the year 1940 and is headquartered
in Chicago, United States (Binder, 2016). The location of this restaurant is around 37855 and the
operations are carried out all over the world. The company deals in the Restaurant Industry and
the number of employees currently working in the company are approx 2,10,000. In many ways,
globalisation impacts upon the functions of business such as in the economical, cultural and
ethical impacts on human resource, marketing, accounting and operations department.
Topic: “Positive Ethical, Cultural and Economical Impacts of Globalisation on Different
Functions of Business.”
The Aim of this research is “ “To Evaluate the Positive Cultural, Economic, Ethical
Impact of Globalisation on Different Business Functions of Organisation: A study on
McDonald’s.”
Objectives:
To describe importance of globalisation for business unit.
To analyses relationship between culture, ethics, economic aspects and HR, marketing

quality at affordable prices to be provided to the
customers (Hamersly and Land, 2015). For the

P4) Conducting Small Scale Research
Research is consider as basic requirement of each organisation which support them in
evaluating the changes that are anticipated with in the market and what kind of impact it brings
toward the performance of organisation. The information gathered within two format such as
qualitative and quantitative, which are explained below:
Qualitative Method: This method focuses toward analysing the behaviour and mindset
of people in order to gather data in detailed manner which help in developing a deep analysis
regarding particular area of concern. In this method, the use of theoretical data is done such as
the use of theories and models for conducting the research (Nikolova, Kuporov and Rodionov,
2015).
Quantitative Method: This method of investigation make use of statistical and
numerical data for driving conclusion. It provide more reliable and accurate information that are
easier to verified and conclude. The quantitative method makes use of statistical or numerical
data for completing the research.
For the completion of this research, the use of qualitative data has been done as with the
help of this method, deep analysis of the information can be done and it provides quality
information as compared to quantitative data which is important for the completion of this
research project.
P5) Evaluation of Research and Data Using Suitable Tools and Techniques
The data that is gathered and used for conducting an investigation is gathered from
different sources which is used by the researcher for getting suitable data for accomplishment of
its investigation objectives. There are two type of data collection methods which are used in
conducting this research. The description is provided as under:
Primary Method: It can be defined as the first hand collection of data which does not
involve any already existence of that data (Noe and et. al., 2017). The tools used in order to get
this information are surveys, questionnaires, etc.
Secondary Method: The following method makes use of second hand collection of data
for completing the research. These data have already existing sources of their collection and the
tools used for this purpose are books, journals, etc.

Sampling: The definition of Sampling can be provided as the selection of respondents in
order to conduct any survey or questionnaire from a large number of population. These are two
methods of sampling which are Probability and Non Probability Sampling. In Probability
Sampling, the use of Random Sampling has been done. The reason behind making use of this
method is to make the completion of research bias free (Segatto, Inês Dallavalle de Pádua and
Pinheiro Martinelli, 2013).
The number of respondents chosen for the completion of this research is 40 and with the
help of questionnaire, the research will be completed. The respondents will be the employees of
the company.
