Introduction
The significance of globalization has influenced the emergence of the multinational companies to
expand its branches in foreign markets (Tierney and Lanford, 2015). This research has been
conducted taking into account the fast food company Mc Donald’s that has immense scope in
further expansion of its business in foreign markets. This assessment has included formulation of
the aim, objectives and timelines of the data based on the project topic. The focus of this research
project aims at occupying a vast area that includes cost measurement, time management, quality
assurance, resource availability, communication and risk factor. Recommendations on the whole
project is formulated based on the research conclusions that has been recorded. A positive note
of reflection has been accounted in the assessment that includes the valuable knowledge gained
from the completion of this project.. Multinational fast food companies as Mc Donald’s have
reached and gained a global acclamation for its optimum reach to the customers, reasonable
costing, and good quality food. The emergence of globalization is an immediate concern for the
fast food company to gain steady foreign market engagement and greater rate of expansion.

Definition of project
The different sectors of a reputed business organization have a definite focus on the aspect of
globalization. The main aim of conducting this research deals with the different impact of
globalization and its positive result that helps the organization to grow bigger over other rival
companies. This research assessment has emphasized on economy, ethics and culture, which are
shaping the company’s global domination over other markets. The research has put equal
emphasis on the overall cultural, economic and ethical concerns that puts ample spotlight on the
globalization of the company. Globalization has equal significance in the company’s global
status among the vast market.

The principal aim of conducting this research project is to establish the effect of globalization in
accordance with the multinational company of Mc Donald’s. The effects of the cultural,
economic and social scenario with regard to globalization have been critically analyzed with
regard to the multinational food company.
Company background
Mc Donald’s is a globally acclaimed multinational fast food company that has established itself
in 1940 as a restaurant that was operated by Maurice and Richard Mc Donald in California’s San
Bernardino in United States (www.mcdelivery.co.in, 2019). They have reevaluated their business
as an independent hamburger stand and later in the period of its globalization turned the
completely acclaimed company into a franchise with the logo of Golden Arches. Mc Donald’s
have been the largest restaurant chain with huge grossing revenue that has served over 70 million
customers daily on a global basis with its branches in more than 100 countries
(www.mcdelivery.co.in, 2019). It has about an estimation of 37,855 outlets according to the
reports of 2018. The company is the second largest private employer with about customer

a monetary level by influencing its economy as a result of acclaimed globalization. The enriched
economy of the company helps in its further establishment with branches across the globe.
Cultural Impact- The diversification in terms of cultural impact of globalization of Mc
Donald’s has facilitated various market customers from different areas across the globe (Almeida
and Chase-Dunn, 2018). The diverse employee strength needs to be highlighted as well as the
company branch in different countries are encountered by employee force coming from different
cultural background
Ethical Impact- The ethical impact of globalization can affect the different strategies that the
company implements in order to gain global domination amidst the other market industries
(Nosova, 2017). The business conduct of Mc Donald’s is of prime significance in this matter
with related ways of conducting their business.
Methods of Data Collection
The research was readily conducted through data collection methods in the multinational
companies of fast food with regard to Mc Donald’s. The data collection of this company has
been conducted through primary data collection method. Interviews and surveys were conducted
in order to gain help and information regarding the formulation of the research project. The
survey was held in a quantitative method with the objective of collecting information regarding
the view of managers in multinational companies about the impact of globalization. These
