McDonald's is a leading food chain organization that expand their business all over the
world. This firm owns strong brand image in marketplace and provide the best quality of food
services, quality management, cleanliness and customer satisfaction. This report will discuss
about the importance of business operations in the organization. This research will discuss that
how McDonald's effects of local business such as restaurant. Furthermore, it will describe that
how the business process affecting the operations and function of local restaurants.

McDonald's is the first fast food service provider to the customer in 1948 at California
(USA). Nowadays, this is the largest growing organization and is expanded its business all over
the world. They also provide the direction to increase the business and offers many varieties of
fast food services to the customers. This firm uses modern quality of management system to
easily identify the need and requirement of enterprises (Abby Nicholas and O’Regan, 2014).
McDonald's provide an effective quality of product and services in marketplace. In this way, it
can be developed their business process all over the world. This organization is developed by
two brothers and establish their own restaurant. In 1955, the first local business was opened by
ray kroc between the 60's and 50's management team operated the entire operations and function.
(McDonald's business model, 2017). McDonald's has been established the business and also start
the table services in the restaurant and adopt different principle of organization such as value,
quality, service and cleanliness, etc. The success of McDonald's business is fast food services
provided to the consumers. The atmosphere of fast food services in the beneficial for business to
increase the productivity and profitability in marketplace. In 1967, McDonald's acquired the
burger king and also manage the food chain of burger in effective manner.

SIGNIFICANCE OF RESEARCH
This research is undertaken to examine that how the McDonald's operations impact on
the local restaurant. The researcher has supported to identify that how they can maintain their
local business operations. This will help for identifying the management operations and
supported to maintain the position in the global world Furthermore, this project will provide to
use the operation's management strategy to manage their entire processing of business. (Jennifer,
2014). This research will help for identifying the goals and objective of research to take decision
in different areas by using the operation's management techniques. It is necessary for researcher
to apply the Cost strategies in the local business operations to provide the best quality of offers
and discounts. This research will help for continuously fulfil the need of project. In this research,
it can be applied the production line method to maintain business of local restaurants.
