INTRODUCTION
Ethics is derived from the greek word ethos that refers to the moral character. In a spcial setting,
ethics refers to good or bad whereas in a corporate organisation ethics regers to the consideration
of fairness and honesty. When we talk about fairness and ethical behaviour in a company we
consider that the company should follow the ethical conduct for each of its employees and taking
utmost care of the shareholders. But when the company is about profits, ethical behaviour takes a
back drop. Businesses should uphold high standards of conduct that place a greater emphasis on
ways to serve the needs of society as a whole than on maximising profits. The activities should not
hurt people according to business ethics. Due of this, businesse emphasis on earnings must include
a social responsibility if they wish to generate a profit and money.
Businesses have a responsibility to contribute to society in positive ways, however business ethics
can also forefront. Several ethical practises influence business decisions. The important business
ethics are integrity, honesty, teamwork, and many more.
MCDONALDS
McDonalds is a company that follows ethics in order to sustain and abide well with its employees.
Although the business contends with rivals with comparable brands, its strength comes from their
workforce. They offer great management for employee happiness, which raises customer
happiness. The focus of McDonalds has always been on its employees, from making investments
in their personal pleasure to enhancing the working environment. As part of their dedication to
opportunity, they support the educational endeavours of their staff. McDonald's places a lot of
attention on the learning curves of its employees as part of their on-the-job training.

specific culture. The product strategy is an important determinant in the marketing model. This
shows the ethical conduct which McDonalds takes care of.
Both the individual and organisational levels of development are benefited. Because it pays close
attention to its customers' needs in every part of business, from product management to customer
service, McDonald's is the most trusted brand among a variety of customers. It is well known that
the employees have a fair opportunity of learning at McDonald's for their personal growth.
McDonalds has been serving among the best retailing fast food industry. It has one of the best
ethical operations managements. The corporation has set aside certain standards of ethical
management with its roots under best operations management.
ETHICAL OBJECTIVE
In order to abide by the changes in technology, the company serves on the job training to it’s
employees. It educates team building morals and ethical principles. Such webinars help the staff
to keep at par with the changes in the field and serve the customers with best of their knowledge.
They also build up brand identity. McDonalds helps it’s employees to even learn new skills,
focusing on their vocational training at well. In order to preserve qualities, they have quality
checker team in order to serve its customers with the best. They have futuristics performance

objectives, in order to track their improvements in skills and objectives. On it’s path to becoming
the best fast food retail industry, McDonalds has secured its place on maintaining a clean
environment with best food quality. The operations is full fledged managed and structured at
McDonalds. The customer satisfaction that the company offers is exceptional. From less waiting
time to delivering exceptional quality, McDonalds has been around it customers from far too long
now. The limited choices, structured labor division makes it easy for the customers to put hands
on it’s products. The operations strategy of McDonalds has been fixed from the start itself. From
maintaining cleanliness to maintaining the quality of the products, it has been names to deliver
good servicing.
Early on in their operation, McDonald's recognised that the best way to make consumers happy
was by having engaged, happy, and motivated staff. In order to start fostering employee and
customer pleasure, they adopted the customer-first strategy. With many contemporary and
commercial tactics, McDonald's in India set the best example for staff and customer pleasure.
In order to become a brand that enjoys a very high brand in the current market, they altered
themselves, according to Sameer (2012), to satisfy the taste buds of their Indian clients. There
were various approaches used by McDonalds to build a successful business model which included
the happy meals, glocalization etc.
In the past, McDonald's employed a cashier who was essentially a one-man army. It appears
cashier was providing subpar customer service because the person had to accept orders, collect
payments, and even serve food to the crowd. With advancement, the cashier was now responsible
for taking orders and processing payments rather than handling other duties. Even if the money
used in the operation remained the same, this entitled the clients to and created the impression of

greater service. Psychologically, McD's creative marketing approach was successful in influencing
its customers' thoughts so that their wants are given more attention. This considers how ethically
the company works at both levels ie taking care of it's employees and customers.The business has
also placed a strong emphasis on training and educating staff members on the value of upholding
high standards of quality. By recruiting skilled workers, standardized job design lowers employee
churn. This helps the employers to keep at par with the ethics.
CONCLUSION
It is crucial for McDonald's to take ethical and environmental concerns into account, just like the
majority of food corporations throughout the world do. To make sure the food items are safe for
ingestion by humans, the corporation uses quality operation mismanagement. The company is still
dealing with a variety of problems, but the management has stated that they want to address the
environmental problems. McDonald's main environmental problem is waste from packing
materials. This waste is a by-product of the business' use of plastic wrap and packaging materials
for food products. These materials for packaging include burger wrappers, fries’ boxes, beverage
cups, straws, napkins, and container lids. The management of McDonald's is attempting to
minimize the company's greenhouse gas emissions, which contribute to global warming.
