INTRODUCTION
Business environment is the collection of micro and macro elements which basically
affect company in operating their functions either directly or indirectly. All these factors affect
the performance and business of company. In this report, there is discussion done in different
types, size and scope of organisations. Along with this, they also highlight one of the
multinational establishments that is McDonald's which is very popular for fast food items and
variety of beverages which would be attracting number of customers over seas. This report also
discusses about SWOT and PESTLE analysis for the selected company and also how it impacts
on the activities of the organisation. In the last section of report, business environment basically
talks about the way in which external and internal factors on McDonald’s affect its functioning
in the market.

national border to international areas (Blanchardand Mencken, 2011). They are serving to every

foreign consumers by introducing some kind of catchy ads or tag lines for the product item so
that it will become attractive and influential so that more customers would get attracted towards
the firm. This company is basically famous for their variety of products and quality of items
which they focus on making with full dedication and innovation at reasonable price as per the
tastes and preferences of customers. Basically, this company is famous for its qualitative
products with best of their services in terms of food and beverages and provide services for
capturing the attention of millions of customers. Their enterprise is usually specialised in
manufacturing good quality food items, fast food centres and junk food availability with some
drinks. These subsidiaries in various field of the countries which basically need to follow some
kind of hierarchical structure. Their main focus is on to focus or manage all the branches of
company by satisfying the needs of customers. These structures have been established for
meeting the needs of customers and satisfying them with their demands so that they will remain
happy and entangled with continuously using of same company’s products. According to this

firm, there are so many possible ways in which McDonald's can mark the outlines and objectives
of their firm (Bill Pasmore and CMC, 2011). These are mentioned as below:
First and foremost aim of firm is to establish their company with reasonable price in the
market by introducing some kind of innovative products.
Their primary job is to provide delivery products on time with the best suitable services
which can be perfect for the company to improve their performance skills.
They might also try to develop some power which would be useful in uplifting their
condition from the previous position and improve the society conditions also.
They also tend to focus on working in given interval of time where on time delivery
would be very useful for attracting customer attention.
They are required to manufacture good quality products which should be free from
harmful diseases or toxic elements. That might influence them in surrounding for the
society.
Increase amount of sales which is used for implementation of various promotional
strategies.
There arevarious organisational functions which would be available for running business
in a smooth manner which is mentioned below.
Financial Revenue which is used like a lifeblood
necessity for every organisation and all the
tasks and activities that might be depend on
providing funds for an enterprise. Their main
focus for the financial function is to keep the

preparing an appropriate budget with accurate

cost which is basically required and this
basically consider previous year budget and

to be followed by McDonald's for running their business effectively. Usually these norms and
beliefs which is adopted by this company during expansion process for trading across national

The positive effect of this law and rules which are equally applicable for small and large
