Westmead Institution Measles Research Report Analysis

The research, conducted by a student under the guidance of Dr. Ramon Shaban, aimed to identify effective solutions to reduce measles occurrences. Introduction
The Westmead Institution of Australia has been the field for my research work and it helped
me in gaining the quality knowledge that should be maintained in a research. The placement
at the Westmead Institution has itself been one of the greatest achievements. On working as
an Assistant professor under Dr. Ramon Shaban, who is the inaugural clinical chair and
professor of infection prevention and control at the university of Sydney and Western Sydney
Local Health District. The aim of the research has been to provide some effective solutions to
the measles infectious disease which would reduce the rate of occurrence of the disease in the
country. The role of executing all the data collecting activities and provide with some
accurate analysis of the same which could be explored by the professor and help in reaching
to some authentic conclusions.
The follow up of the government policies and regulations was considered which has been my
function in the research. Ongoing through the research and executing the research, some
specific solutions were delivered which includes proper vaccination, safekeeping the
environment, safe sex, and specific food habits. The research marked some issues and
problems in the execution too, which included the perspectives of different authors which
contradicted on their conclusions (Jabri & Samad, 2019). Multiple issues were faced in
reaching to some specific solutions as the facts were to be acknowledged by the professor
without which it was not possible to reach to some conclusions. The research helped me in
enhancing my critical analytical skills as the research required interviewing the professors
and it helped me in adding to my communication skills. The team work skills and the
alignment of the member’s thoughts and mind set has been rightly delivered by me which
provided me with leadership strategies to be applied (Giannetti et al. 2018). The selection of
the leadership strategy has helped me in acknowledging the situation in most specific manner
and thus, provided me with the skills of critical thinking. While working with the supervisor
it helped me in creating an attitude of following the instructions and carry out the work in the
most productive manner. The changes which are required in the working style of the
professors includes that they need to be more active with the team and provide the guidance
for each and every activity. The funds and the fiancées provided by the government for the
research should be enhanced through justifying the requirement.

Conclusion
The research has been quite productive for me and it helped me in gaining the professional as
well as personal as skills which would provide me with additional benefits in my future
career. The conduction of the research demanded multiple considerations which helped me in
channelizing my activities and plan it to the accuracy. The disease of measles could be
reduced through the remedies that has been provided in the research but further improvisation
would be required.
