Executive Summary
It is a report of mechanical engineering which is used to highlight the working experiences at the company SWARS
International Pty Ltd in Sydney at the end of the course. The job role is a trainee engineer. I involved myself in
various projects in this internship programme. In this .
My friend suggested me about this company. He is an employee of this company. He told me regarding this training.
With the help of email I applied for this company and they called me for interview process. The internship started on
8-7-2019 and finished on 8-10-2019.
In the training, I came to know regarding the Australian stage 1 competency and they provided me an opportunity to
work a permanent engineer of the company.
I involved myself in various types of activities like contacting with the administration and many others. In that
company I performed preliminary civil as well as structural work. It enhanced my various skills.

1. Introduction
1.1 Company Profile
SWARS International Consulting Engineers provides advantages to give various services regarding the project
management on large construction projects in Australia, Indonesia, Dubai, Kuwait since 2008. The experts of the
company give required expertise for giving services to the clients. It helps to mitigate several financial risks of the
company. It gives the international certification for giving the quality systems.
SWARS International Consulting Engineers provides the trading over twenty years. They have sound experiences in
this field. It involves building, highway, advantages of development and planning for the maintenance of railway
tracks. They create some expert group of employees. That is used for exact requirements of various industry as well as
business sectors. For example, this company has engaged the building of school and university projects inside the
country in the country like Australia, Indonesia, Dubai and South Korea. They are collaboratively managing several
construction projects of the country. They have gained lots of popularity for their reliable nature and huge quality in
several areas of activity.

JOB DESCRIPTION
My position in the SWARS International Pty Ltd was an intern engineer and I started the assignment on the month of
July, 2019. The company gave various opportunities to provide entire focus on the internship. It was not restricted to a
single assignment. They allocated a various assignments to me. Following is the short description of the assignments:
 Contracting administration.
 Arrangement of meetings
 Important and not so important civil and structural assignments
 previous design for current projects
 Visiting of different sites
 Performing the tendering and estimation of the different projects
 Management of projects
 Describing the position of yours inside the company and job details.
2 Details of Mechanical Experience
At the time of my internship, the company allocated me various types of projects. The major responsibility of me is to
conduct and collaborate various team members. It collects logs and provides summary of the field data or documents.
It also performs some mathematical calculation of these projects. I performed lots of assignment regarding the
AUTOCAD assignments. They provided the help of graphic display as well as materials for presentation. I assisted
the team who were working on the Solar Panel Design as well as several installations of the projects. I visited those
construction sites and attended the pre tender meeting.
First Week: Introduction
 provided an outline regarding the company
 Conducting the safety session and maintaining health in the workplace.
 Conducting the environmental as well as quality session.
 Provide the login details to all the employees for tendering and other websites to bid these projects.
In the first week of the internship, I studied the previous projects. It involved the projects of Air Conditioning, railway
projects, building projects and many others. In these projects, I got an opportunity to learn scope of the work,
establishing designing requirements, generating various plans for budgets, compiling of the all required documents
and many others. After first week in the SWARS international, I came to know several works of civil engineering
discipline. Team supervisors, project managers and other civil engineers are engaged into this project.
Week 2
 Providing review of various financial reports as well as several presentation skills.
 Designing of confidence and preparation of efficient performance as well as professionalism.
Week 3
 Executing of daliy meetings. In this case, my duty was to arrange and message to all the employees for
meeting in the allocated time frame.
 Keeping involved with the help of interactions, asking various questions and providing feedbacks.
The main target of achieving experiences was included in actual working culture in an Australian company. There
were several standards for working and mechanical engineering practices. In this company, I gained all the talents of
myself in the engineering sectors as well as it would provide me the entire international exposure to the clients.
Fourth to eight week

 Performing the tender and bidding for the projects like Solar Panel Project.
An executed solar panel project is at Maruabra Bay Public School. The solar could generate the design and installation
of Solar Panel of 36.14 KW.
 Providing a large amount of budget for the tender process
In this particular place, I have included the budget for one project. The project is regarding the solar design and
installation of Solar Panel Design and Installation for Maroubra Bay Public School. Quotation for the project is
$72133.00 and it is performed after the getting the tiny scale Technology Certificate. The expenditure of the project is
$39058.00 involving the GST.
 examining the tender
 Inspection of the site at 138 Lansdownie roads and 288 military Road.
I have attached my photos for the visit of my site. When I have visited site, site supervisor told me regarding the
advantages of Personal Proactive Equipments regarding safety purpose. Overall, it is an outstanding working
experience.
Week 9
 An important project was assigned at the ninth week of the internship. It was related to the installation of the
solar panel at Kogarah High School and Maroubra Bay Public School. The project involved structural
engineering, design and supply and installation of the solar grids of 55kW PV. It took three weeks for
finishing of the project. It was attached in the Appendix.
 Another project was Lansdownie Road Canley Vale and 288 Military roads Cremorne.
 While doing these projects, I came to know regarding the performed tendering in the country of Australia.
 During the internship within this company, they provided me various opportunities regarding the learning of
several things apart from engineering.
3 Analysis of Mechanical Experience
While working as an engineer, I am able to achieve various skills of engineering on regular basis at the time of
gaining several experiences in mechanical engineering. After completion of my assignment in many projects, I got
some technical assignments for the procedure in an authentic manner. I also provided enough knowledge regarding the
technique of writing various reports and managing of various assignments. I came to know about the tendering
procedure in Australia. I came to know regarding various problem solving techniques. I received my graduation
degree from any university in Australia and worked in a company of Australia. At the time of the internship, I got
some hands-on experiences. This report will try to highlight the aspect of studying engineering in Australia.
At the time of working as an engineer within that company, I came to know regarding different technical skills and
creativity works. In the middle of this programme, we had to complete assignments within the deadline of one or two
days. At that time, I faced a huge amount of pressure and challenges. Within this time, I gained knowledge about
inter-personal skills, verbal as well as written communications. I got an opportunity to familiar with most of the skills
which an engineer required.
At the time of approval of Automatic Bead Ball Bearing Sorting Machine, I went through the CAD software and other
tools. While doing the other projects of mechanical engineering, I gained knowledge regarding the Visual Basic
Application Software. It was related to my course curriculum. I went through regarding the Pneumatic Vibratory

Screw Feeder Bowl tendering done by the company. It was totally involved into my subjects. It normally occurs in the
area of engineering.
With the help of some technical skills, I got a huge amount of practical knowledge in graduation as well as post-
graduation level. I got genuine working area in Australia. This could help me an edge at the international level. While
working in the company, I learned that there was a huge gap in the theoretical as well as practical world. It is
necessary that you should know regarding the application of those skills. At the time of working, I learnt regarding the
skills, managerial and communication skills and problem solving skills.
4. Knowledge and skill base
4.1 Skill and knowledge
4.1.1 Understanding of theory
I designed different understanding of several basic experiences related to basic methods and ideas related to the
projects. It is necessary to every employee to know the elaborated information related to the field. In this particular
case, the theoretical knowledge is very important. I learn designing, valuation and drafting of the project. n regarding
It helps to complete all the necessary aspect of the engineering assignments.
4.1.2 Understanding of concept
As a trainee engineer, I should have different types of computer aided software design and performing different
mathematical calculations. With the help of software analysis and statistics, it can be easily detected different areas of
project. It also includes the entire calculation. It is not impossible to correct data within a short time period. With the
help of this software, result and analysis is understood. During the graduation of the engineering, I received enough
knowledge regarding the advanced technologies which is totally different to the laws and acts. At the time of
execution of the project in an efficient manner, conceptual knowledge is very important.
4.1.3 Depth Understanding
During internship, I generated the draft of the entire progress. Analytical thinking is very important for managing all
the problems in near future. I should have a sound knowledge regarding all the documents as well as requirement of
the client. For that reason, the project moves in a flawless ways. The engineers must have the talents regarding the
design, acts, laws and regulations is one of skills that the engineer must have.
4.1.4 Judgment regarding the enhancement of knowledge
During first week of my internship, my group leader gives an introduction regarding the company as well as the job
role. My team leader also provides various opportunities regarding the condition of the assignment and safety as well
as quality plan for the session. Small introduction was provided during the internship. They gave a huge amount of
introductory sessions regarding the dealing with clients. They gave enough sessions regarding the tendering procedure
and communication skills. Team leader is very helpful, so that it can create a comfortable nature. I learned regarding
the estimation technique, employee management and management of the materials. It shows my professional nature.
e-tendering is very popular in Australia. We can access various documents from authenticated websites.
Several of researches are very important before initiating any projects. Feasibility economic, social and environmental
of a project in Australia is important factor in Australia. In engineering, increase in the knowledge and guide for the
research are two important factors.

4.1.5 Knowledge of engineering design and contractual factors
During my internship, I used my conceptual knowledge which I learned at the time of my engineering course. I did
lots of mathematical calculation as well as the estimation. I used to perform lots of computation as well as calculation.
Data provided in the table has lots of design cases. I raised all the sub-parts of the projects. In this project, I collected
many points from the text books. I gained knowledge regarding the Australian project guidelines using internet. I have
used the concept of object rejection and counting machine, stepper motor control, motorized object lifting jack and
many others.
4.1.6 Understanding of the scope, principles and other factors
At the time of internship, I came to know regarding different criteria of company which I was totally dark. For
development of the country like Australia, there are various ways to implement these. It mainly included various
points like building, construction and many others. Australia is continuously developing. It has a massive growth.
Projects are sustainable. At the time of this internship, I gained knowledge regarding the rules of Australia. These are
environment friendly. Sustainable development is necessary for the growth of the country.
4.2 Capability of implementation of engineering
4.2.1 Implementation of sophisticated engineering methods
In general, there will be different issues that can be faced by the client at the time project. I discussed this problem
with my team member and performed changes in the project. This was happened when I involved myself in material
handling, robotic arm with gripper and many others. At this time, I handled lots pressure during the project. I
highlighted various change requests by the consumers. In these projects, popular engineering methodologies are used.
4.2.2 Efficient application of the several engineering techniques
At the time of this internship, I communicated different employees of the project. During the project, I used various
software of mechanical engineering (like Matlab and other tools). During the evaluation of the projects, I used the
software of Microsoft.
4.2.3 Implementation of sophisticated engineering procedure
Study as well as non-study based approach helps to increase the knowledge. In this training, most of the working is
related to the knowledge based approach. Majority of the training is related to the development as well as daily
meeting. If problems were raised then I discussed it with my team leader. I followed all the rules implemented by the
company
4.2.4 Implementation of several strategies for continuing the engineering projects
Ethical policies are followed by the company. Basic information enhances the knowledge and provides
successful career. Team management is also very important for a project for successful execution. My team
member motivates regarding the project work and it helps me to learn managerial skills.
