Executive Summary
This is a report for the mechanical engineering. It is used to reflect the working experiences in SWARS International
Pty Ltd in Sydney. It is performed at the end of the degree. The designation is a trainee engineer. I involved myself
different types of training within the company. They provided lots of opportunities regarding the tendering,
calculation, ad-hoc and many others.
My friend informed me regarding this company. He is working in the administrative office of the company. I applied
to the company with the help of email. After that they called me for the interview. After one week of the interview I
started by internship within the company. The starting date of the internship was on 8-7-2019 and completed on 8-10-
2019.
At the time of training, it provided me an opportunity to gain knowledge regarding the work culture in the engineering
field. It provided me to gain knowledge regarding the competency in the engineer Australia Stage 1. It gives an entire
working experiences based on the Australia. I became a full time engineer in this company. I did the internship for
sixty days or two months within the company.
I engaged myself in different types of assignments like arrangement of the meeting with city councils, contact with the
administration and many others. I performed major and minor civil as well as structural assignments, visiting of sites,
initial design of the latest projects, performing the tendering as well as estimation, project management and many
others. These assignments helped me a lot to increase my skills in mechanical engineering. It helps to provide the
capability to increase my skills and improvement of the ability for performing in professional way.

provided in the huge range of construction projects in the country like Australia, Indonesia, Dubai and Kuwait.
They are providing these services since 2008. Various experts of the company cover the total life cycle of the
constructed assets. It has the concept of the feasibility to design process. Main services of the company involve
expenditure as well as management of the contract. It includes design, construction, planning, estimating, and
audit of expenditure as well as certification. They provided lots of professional to give support to the clients. It
helps to manage the financial risk related to the asset procurement and ownership. They received third party
certification for its Quality system.

DETAILING ABOUT THE JOB
My designation was an intern engineer. I began my internship in SWARS International Pty Ltd. on July, 2019. My
focused was totally on the internship. I performed more than one assignment at the time of doing the internship.
Following are some of the assignments performed by me within the company:

ï‚· Conducting the meetings with the city council
ï‚· Visiting of construction sites

2 Elaboration of the experience regarding the mechanical engineering
At the time of internship, the company allocated me various types of tasks. My duty was to perform the
coordination as well as collaboration among the design team, summary of the field notes, establishment as well as
maintenance of various records of technical data or documents, performing calculations of mathematics,
performing AUTOCAD related assignments, helping to create graphic display as well as presentation materials
and performing other duties as the leader of the assignments. I also helped in the Solar Panel Design projects,
visiting of sites, joining in the pre-tender meeting.
Week 1: Introduction
ï‚· An orientation of the organisation of the company is provided.

In the initial week of internship, I went through many previous projects of the company like projects of air
conditions, railway projects, building projects and many others. In these projects, I got an opportunity regarding the

time delivery and compilation of the documents. After that, I was comfortable with the mechanical work for the area
of civil engineering. Team leaders, project managers and civil engineers were assigned to these projects.

ï‚· Company developed confidence among the employees. They prepared the employees in such a way that they
became efficient and professional.
Week 3:-
ï‚· Company arranged day to day meeting. In this particular case, my responsibility was to provide proper
arrangement of meeting. I sent the message related to meeting to the company.

collected feedback.

ï‚· The company performed the tendering as well as bidding of the projects like Solar Panel Project.
Maroubra Bay Public School implemented one solar panel project. The capacity of this project was 36.14KW.
ï‚· The company allocated budget at the time of performing the tender.
Budget of this project is attached by me. The company quoted $72133.00 for this project. If the company included
the small scale Technology Certificate, the expenditure was $39058.00. This expenditure was calculated after the
involvement of the Goods and Services Tax. After that the company performs the evaluation of the projects and they
visited the site of 138 Lansdownie roads and 288 military Road. After visiting the entire site, I came to know
regarding the necessity of the Personnel Protective Equipment. It was performed because of the safety purpose. It is
quite good for the learning experiences.
Week 9:-
ï‚· In this week, an important project came. It was the solar installation in Kogarah High School, and Maroubra
Bay Public School. In this project, the basic requirements were the structural engineering, designing and
supply and installation of solar power grid. It was the capacity of 55 kW PV. It took three weeks to finish the
project.
ï‚· There were other projects of 138 Lansdownie Road Canley Vale and 288 Military road Cremorne.
ï‚· At the time of these projects, I came to know regarding the tendering procedure of Australia. These projects
provided me ample opportunity regarding the skills as well as engineering.

engineering in daily basis. After the finishing the assignments, I gained lots of technical knowledge regarding the
procedure of writing reports, management of the assignments and performing the assignment in an efficient manner. I
came to know regarding the tendering procedure of Australia for these types of projects. I came to know different
problem solving techniques related to these projects. I completed my graduation from Australian University and I
worked for an Australian Company. It gave me hands on experiences at the time of the internship. It will try to
highlight various aspect of Australia.
At the time of my internship, I came to know regarding popular technical skills as well as creativity and it was the
very important characteristics for the corporate world. In the middle of the internship programme, there was a
situation where we could complete the assignment within one or two days. It was used for tendering purpose. In this
internship, I learned how to work under pressure. In this internship, I learnt various problem solving skills. I also
learned all the interpersonal, verbal as well as communication skills. It is very important for the engineer.
There were various situations where I felt that I already went through regarding those topics. At the time of
performing Automated Ball Bearing Sorting Machine, I studied the CAD software as well as several other tools. At
the time of performing the other projects, I came to know regarding the Visual Basic Software Application. It was
totally related to my course curriculum of the mechanical engineering. I gained lots of theoretical as well as practical
experience of the mechanical engineering discipline.
Apart from the theoretical knowledge, I came to know regarding various practical knowledge in the time of my
engineering course. It would help me to gain international reputation in future. There was a huge gap between the

During the course curriculum of mechanical engineering, I came to know some fundamental procedures as
well as various ideas for the working principles. It is necessary for every mechanical engineer to gain detailed
information regarding their core subjects. This theoretical knowledge plays an important contribution before
running the project. I came to know regarding the design, estimation, evaluation and drafting of the reports. These
were very important for successful execution of the assignments. Important part every project of mechanical
engineering is to gather various knowledge for executing the tasks. After that, they try to manage all the aspects
of those projects.
4.1.2 Conceptual understanding
I worked as a trainee engineer of the company. It was very important to have a sufficient knowledge
regarding the various software and mathematical calculations. With the help of various software analysis
methodologies, it was very easy to understand the total calculation. After that I made some correction of the data
for a small period of time. With the help of that software, I calculated the outcome and performed the analysis of
those outcomes. They executed those one. At the time of the graduation, I had a sound knowledge regarding the
several engineering software as well as other engineering related terminologies. I had an advance knowledge
regarding the other subjects and it was totally different from acts as well as laws. Conceptual knowledge was very
important at the time off execution of the project.

At the time of internship, I prepared draft regarding the progress of the project. I performed the critical
thinking approach. It would help me to handle many hazards in near future. I had to understand all the
necessary documents as well as requirement of the client. It helped me to perform the project in flawless
manner. It provided detailed understanding regarding the design, laws, process and many others. These are
most important skills of the mechanical engineers.

At the beginning of the internship programme, my team leader provided a detailed introduction of the
company. From this, I came to know regarding the work-health as well as safety measures during the project.

highlighted my duties as well as responsibilities. The company provided many session regarding the clients,
procedure of the tendering, communication procedure and many others. My team leader was a very nice
person and he provided me an efficient guidance. It took me in the comfort zone in the project. In the solar
panel project, I learned regarding various professional report for those projects. It helped me to learn
estimation as well as employee management. It would be very important for me to become an efficient
engineer in near future. This internship helped to learn regarding various software of the mechanical industry
in Australia. e-tendering was very important in Australia.
Lots of research required to be performed before the initiation of any project. These are economically,
environmentally and socially feasible in the country like Australia. It helped a lot to the engineering

At the time of internship, I prepared draft regarding the progress of the project. I performed the critical
thinking approach. It would help me to handle many hazards in near future. I had to understand all the

most important skills of the mechanical engineers.

At the beginning of the internship programme, my team leader provided a detailed introduction of the
company. From this, I came to know regarding the work-health as well as safety measures during the project.

procedure of the tendering, communication procedure and many others. My team leader was a very nice

changes. It was happened when I engaged myself object rejection and counting machine, stepper motor
control, motorized object lifting jack and many others. At the time of this internship, these assignments
created huge pressure upon me. I noted the change request of the consumer as well as management. It is
very important for the professional mechanical engineer to apply popular engineering concepts to resolve
the complicated problems.

At the time of working, I was very much familiar with the communication skills with various clients. I

communication skill is very important. For delivering the message in correct way, communication is very
important. There are many ways by which a communication needs to be performed. These are emails,
telephonic, face to face and many others. According to me, these are very efficient.

well. It kept this one as confidential. Professional experiences helped me to become more professional.
