This report details a project focused on developing an alternative, eco-friendly vehicle. The project, conducted at the Institute of Technology and Management, aimed to create a car powered by renewable energy sources such as solar panels and wind turbines. The student, a mechanical engineering student, was involved in designing the vehicle, integrating solar panels on the roof and wind turbines. The project's objectives included developing a zero-emission vehicle capable of generating its own energy, reducing carbon footprint, and addressing environmental concerns like global warming and air pollution. The report outlines the engineering knowledge and skills applied, including the installation of solar panels, the use of wind energy calculations, and the implementation of a suspension system. The student also identified issues related to wind energy and offered solutions. The project resulted in a prototype of a hybrid green car, demonstrating the potential of renewable energy in the automotive industry.
