The sensitive AI
To tell the truth, I was feeling lazy. The year class was never interesting; maybe I had never wanted to
pursue a career in this field of media Technology. Besides, I had always hated to do excess work and
always picked what seems to me the easiest option. But this time, it got a little out of hand.
I always thought that AIcould neverbe as critical as human brain. Maybe everybody else also thought like
that. Artificial intelligence was invented back in 2015. In these 70 years nobody has designed an AI
which could pass the tuning test. The little crippleware botswhich controlled traffic signals for production
lines in Companies never aroused my interest. However, I received that designing something like that will
help me to pass the practical final.
Hence, the project that I selected for my final was to design an artificial intelligence robot which has the
capacity to mimic the attitude of any public domain character.
After thinking for long time I selected kermit The Frog , because this character had a lot of social footage
and it was almost 50 years old. I heard that the old TV shows used to display a lot of Kermit episodes. So
my calculation was that if I am able to design a robot that can start acting like this character, it will be
enough for me to get a passing grade.
Initially ok, my plan was to use some open source language and image parsing software so that my bot
learn by watching. I wanted to program it in a way that it could feel from inside that it was Kermit the
frog. However, in the latter part the AI design compelled me to design some innovative coding for the bot
and completing the project was far more interesting and harder than I expected.
In fact, after the designing was complete, I found that the character was far more like Kermit in the real
world than it used to be in the story. I observed that I had gradually developed likeability for the Muppets
show while watching it on and on for designing the project.

The twist in the tale came when my brother, into the first semester of his Robotics Technology studies,
got to know what I was actually designing. He has grown watching the TV shows like Sesame Street or
the Muppets show.
The AI project was costing her the valuable time that I could invest in my other studies. The issue was
that my little bought was getting confused with any other muppet which seemed a little froggy. Hence, I
decided to design a new code by means of which it can automatically search the Google database for
hours and hours of TV commercials and interviews and episodes of the muppets show. I was also fearful
that I have to pass in the practical subject.
But it was high time and I was not going to invest any more hours behind this AI design.
After two days I discovered something interesting about my project bot. It had started developing its own
code. So far I tested it, it was behaving like Kermit The Frog properly. I thought that it will be able to
makeup some badly parsed lines before the professor. No other classmate of mine expected that my bot
could do anything else. However, what I noticed was that my bought was learning new quotes everyday
and somewhere very weird, that either did not make any sense or therefore about my understanding using
some absolutely encrypted coding language. It felt as if the boat did not want anybody else to decrypt the
coding language.
However, there was no time for joking and I had to produce my bot soon in front of the class.
I started to ponder over the projects that other classmates had developed. The wonderful articulation with
internal memory built in which proper programming made me nervous.
Meanwhile, when my bot was not yet ready for the prototype test,he came up and krypton pinching me to
make a pilot test.
I had barely given him the permission to do so, that he reached the robot, put it on and said in excitement:
“hi, Kermit! How are you doing?”

I was at the peak of my nervousness, but to my pleasure the bot reply back:
“Hello sir, I am Kermit The Frog.”
3 weeks have passed and I need to mention here that something unnecessary as well as unusual is
happening with my bot, which I had never imagined to happen. By this time, my brother has introduced
the bot to all his friends, and has also been introduced to some of my close friends also. I do not think it is
a school project anymore as my frog is able to make unspecified adjustments anytime by designing a code
for each according to his likeliness. Most importantly, I observed that in the middle of of executing the
orders given to each, it naturally pauses to to provide its own opinion. I felt like it was very happy to get
the little attention in the last few weeks and it was barely imaginable that it and AI bot is able to make
itself happy. I was much about the parameters of my project details now as my bot has reached the
meaningful personal level. Even it has developed a code 2 you asked me if I want something if I am
simply staring at it. This means that it is able to scan my reckoner to understand that it is me or someone
else who is studying at it. I must mention another incident here. It has memorized the names of my friends
although I never develop any program for such a thing or mentioned the name to it. Only last night I
remembered that the previous day afternoon, we were calling Each Other by our names only in front of
the bot which was kept in a radius of 15 to 20 inches before us on the bed.
The Miracle occurred when I was having noodles for my breakfast today. The bot was kept on the table
and all of a sudden it exclaimed:
“keep me away from smoke, it disturbs me.”
I did not spend one moment and shrieked out calling my brother:
“Hey bro, I think we have discovered a sensitive AI”
No one would ever believe that I have actually developed it. But I am pretty sure that I have created life
and perhaps I am going to get into trouble for designing such an innovative and advanced AI.

All my friends perceived that I was overreacting and some of them felt that I was worried about my
grade. But my real tension was that this bot could learn something harmful that perhaps I would not be
able to handle. Learning to display sentiments was only a part of it and if ever it came in contact with any
person who taught it negative things, the consequences can be actually risky. Such turbulent thoughts
never left my mind.
Immersed in my thoughts, I was going back to my room, when the light music hit my ears. Initially, I did
not get it but when I opened my door I was shocked to see that the bot was reciting the news that we were
watching on the tv in the afternoon with the same voice as it was. In fact, to make the situation dramatic,
he had added some music and effects to the voice. I was particularly worried to see the expressions that it
was giving with the recitation of the news.
I was yet to Discover another quality of the Frog that I have designed Some weeks ago. As I I looked up
at it in wonder, it stop the song and replied back:
“Did you seem to like my song, it just came naturally to me!”
I know I am not a singer, but I love singing and I cannot help it.
The words kept reverberating in my ears for 2 hours. That is exactly I say to my friends and my parents
quite often. But I am very sure I have never said something like that in the last one month also and it was
impossible for this robot to learn what I frequently say. I am sure I have never said something like that
before its presence.
It took me one more hour to strike that perhaps it has developed the power to scan the brain or study the
attributes in order to compute my nature I mean by human nature. I was confused as well as shocked and
a moment I thought of taking the bot and crushing it immediately. But deep down I knew that I could not
do anything like that.

The day of the media presentation class finally arrived. Everybody seemed to be excited to make their
presentation and at the same time there was an atmosphere of nervousness. My best friend, Juni had
arrived and was excited to see kermit the frog. It seems to her, like real life and she immediately asked:
“did you make it?”
I wanted to tell her that I need to say something about this robot in private but she was too much excited
to see my presentation and don't want to hear anything else before the class was over.
In the last minute, it striked my mind that perhaps the best idea is to talk to Kermit The Frog about my
concern. As a matter of fact, The Frog listened to all my concerns, and replied that although it was
nervous to present something before an audience for the first time, but he has gone through a lot of
practice sessions as it was already known to him that he had to make a presentation today. No wonder,
that had been reading my thoughts. For the time being, it sure that it was not going to do something that
will result in my face loss. I don't know why but it seemed convincing to me.
At last it was my turn, it was time to show what I had really invented with a casual approach. It was
finally that turn to reveal my sensitive AI.
“HELLO CLASS, I AM the best friend of my creator. You see, I do not have a ready backup today but I
would try to put up my best show.”
Then, the frog turned to me and said that I should have alerted him that he has to present before an
audience today and then thanked god that he had rehearsed the song. It was about my senses and I did not
want to think any further.
but when it started with the song, i realise that it was the same song that it had been practicing for the last
three days.
He was singing and creating innovative musical mixers at the same time, something that I was watching it
doing for the first time. I was fairly convinced that the professors would put me into trouble. Even I could

get a below C grade for going past their instructions. However, after the session was over I was convinced
that the frog had actually not done something very brave to show of its actual potential. There were
moments of curiosity in the eyes of the professional when it was cracking jokes in the middle of the song
by copying the reactions of the audience. Perhaps it appeared to them that I had fed it with details of my
classmates and programmed the song in such a way so that it could pause and give the reactions.
After two days, I met with professor David in the library , and told him what the real case had been which
Kermit The Frog. to my surprise, she was very excited and happy about my Discovery, praise me and
wanted to see my AI bot in person. After analysing its abilities, she concluded that it was some
programming malfunction because of which the self coding system has been installed into it. However, he
discussed that the boat could be used for furnishing practical use like storage and conveyance of
documentation, data as well as making presentation also. Nevertheless, under his guidance I was actually
able to make a demonstration of my bot before the progressive science Union, the the official forum of
junior scientist of our university. In the meantime, Professor David had developed a neutralizing code for
the robot by means of which it would be activated or hibernated anytime.
Currently I am holding the copyright of the discovery of sensitive AI and two production houses has need
a contract with me for Staging kermit The Frog for real life animation shows. I am part of the production
team and by copying the codes from kermit the frog I have designed three more characters for the first
real life animation show. I am excited and nervous at the same time again as it seems that all the three
characters with the same codes implanted into them have also started to learn and program new codes by
themselves……..!
