children. With the use of this concept various companies tries to make the media more
interactive and entertaining through the use of various creative content that creates an adverse
impact on the children who are at the phase of development in physical, emotional as well as
mental aspects. It is important to control the impacts which are negative and influencing them to
adopt a wring attitude and behaviour that can completely alter their life in social terms.
Media Convergence is the latest phenomenon which is has been playing an important role
in the life of individual. It is an important term which denotes the merging of the concept like
various media technologies along with the several forms which generally occurred due to
digitization with computer networking. It is also referred as the strategy which is related to the
economical aspect where the media possesses some properties that are owned generally by the
companies in the field of communication .In the history of media, there were the old aspects
aspects of it such as books, newspaper, televisions and radio which completely belongs to
different industry. These have now merged with the portable technological devices which had
created a long impact on the individual in this world of globalisation. Now media can reach to
the mass audience with the help to technological medium which is really impactful for the global
scenario specially for the marketing and promotional activities of the company for selling their
products in the world. Now this converged media has changed the concept and now creates
various innovative stories along with the representation of the useful information and further the
content of entertainment with the usage of varieties in the media. This kind of media has
provided several tools for the process of storytelling and allowing the consumers for selecting

The Convergence of media has provided the combination of three 'C' which are
computing, contents and communications. So, the convergence procedure includes the use of
these applications in the practical world that has helped people to get inter connected with each
other for a creative content just for fulfilling of the purpose. These contents can be various
music, images, televisions, magazine, radio etc. the computing includes various hardware and
software that facilitates the process and the aspect of communication includes the use of
networking such as telecommunication which ensures the en ability of various connectivity and
downloads further sharing and interaction. The convergence that occurs at the primary level has

three types which is convergence of all the cultural forms in textual convergence , second is
technological convergence and the the third is industrial convergence.
This has an immense impact on the children in present era. The most used trans media by
children is the television, it has the ability to create both negative as well as the positive impact
specially the group of children and adolescent. The development level of the child through this
media determines the type of aspects which the media is creating. According to a survey the data
shoes that it has much negative impact on the children as it provides an exposure to the violence ,
the case of inappropriate sexuality and the use if languages which are very offensive which are
completely convincing. It has been seen that there are various health issues which children faces
due to the excessive use of the media such as their mental and physical health. There is a direct
relationship of the violent behaviour of the children and the respective violent programmes that
have completely changed the attitude of the individual in the surrounding. Their performance in
the academic criteria degrades due to the addiction of watching various programmes that lead to
distract their mind and also lead to create less interest in the studies. There is a case of obesity
has been observed among the children who are completely addicted to various technological
media due to which they does not prefer to perform outdoor activities that can lead to have some
physical exercise which is really beneficial and the most required habit that is to be adopted in
the childhood. The violent nature has been observed in the children belonging to the community
which is minor and various immigrant groups , children who are disturbed emotionally, those
who have learning disabilities along with individuals who are completely abused by the parents a
and who suffers distress from the family in several aspects.
While keeping in mind all the impacts of the media convergence the creators have lead to
a great impact on the children which has lead through the concept of Toy story and Transformer.
