1.0 Introduction
Students of Asia Pacific University are required to complete a semester of Industrial
training as a part of the fulfilment for a degree certificate. The training requires a student to
undergo at least three months worth of training and students are free to choose between a
government and non-government and establishment. On 4th of March 2019, I started my
industrial training at National Sports Council. This organisation is a government organisation
and it is located at Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur. The training will end on 26th of May 2019.

2.0 Objectives Of The Industrial Training.
Industrial training is a good way to train students like myself to experience a new life
style and new knowledge. It gives us an insight of what working environment is and exposed
as to the working culture. Additionally it helps us improve our soft skills such as condition
skills, critical thinking and teamwork between groups of people. This type of skills are not
type in the lecture classroom, therefore it is very crucial for a university student to go through
it. The importance of punctuality, discipline, commitment, patients and perseverance are
values we must have. Completing certain tasks and meeting deadlines, as well as feeling the
logbook everyday will somehow this appears more in the future.

3.0 Objectives Of The Report
This report will help a student like me to reflect back on the completed task and
experience that I had went and undergone through the whole three months of training in this
organisation. Apart from that, it will also be served as an evidence that I had completed my
training in the company and therefore, completing my University's requirement to graduate.
Furthermore, This report might be useful in the future as reference do all the work exposure
and valuable experience I had acquired during my tenure of internship. The most important
factor in this internship yes I am exposed to real working experience which and don't leave
will help me in my future career and and endeavours.

4.0 Importance Of Industrial Training To Students
This industrial training aims to educate and prepare me, as a degree student and a
future employee on what to expect in today's working well. It will also help me improve and
three me on my thinking and coping skills, as some of the toss and job scope so they can be
very challenging and requires a high amount of patience and a set of skills to manage
it.Furthermore, It will help me build my confidence weather in the working environment,
social interaction, discipline and many more.
This industrial training will also help me in terms of waiting in my school. It gives
me the chance to actually see what lies beyond the student life. It will show me what working
life is like and how challenging it can be. Students will also learn more on work ethics and
the dress code provided by the company, especially in a government organisation where one
has to dress formally, preferable traditional truth or a smart formal attire. Students will be
able to put into practice what they have learnt along the way to boost up your chances of
Future the employer employments.
The organisation might also benefit from this industrial training as the real gene from
the students who will generate new form of ideas from a different perspectives and
generation, thus keeping the company abreast with the current development of Studies
undertaken in universities.

5.0 Background Of The Organisation
National Sports Council of Malaysia was established in 1972. It was under the act
1971 under the National Sports Council of Malaysia. The amendment was made in the year
1979. National Sports Council was officially launched by YAB Tun Abdul Razak. B, Datuk
Hussein on 21st of February 1972. Back in the early days of the institution, Sports Division
and the Ministry of Culture and Sports (referred to as the Ministry of Youth and Sports)
would conduct high performance sports programme. This programs would mostly involved
student athletes as they would compete at the highest level of competition. Citizens from all
agencies such as the government, the non-government organisation (NGO), National Sports
organisation, state sports councils, institution of higher learning, voluntary bodies and
individuals have endeavoured together to ensure that the quality of National national sports
can achieve best performance for the good of the country,
In 1981, the organisation was restructured again, and the console begin to step up and
expand it's programs and activities to what is now visible. The goal of setting up the National
Sports Council of Malaysia is in line with the National Sports policy, which is being fully
responsible for promoting, developing and achieving excellence in sports at the highest level.

6.0 Objectives Of Organisation
The objective include to ensure more athletes and para-athletes can be more qualified
for the podium program. Besides that, it is also to establish that the management of the
programme will run systematically, full of structure and cooperation from all holders. It is
also to ensure that the national and state level implementing agencies are able to manage
training programs effectively. The next objective includes establishing national assessments
and standards in terms of Athletes development. Apart from that, the National Sports
Council also acts as a technical consultant in managing and developing Sports performance in
Malaysia. Another object you've used to co-ordinate all support services in various aspects
such as training management, training facilities, welfare of athletes and Governance at each
stage of a High Performance Sports development.

The corporation and international sector has several important roles in the company.
Among them is to act as a coordinator between the councils branch and sectors. Besides that,
this department are in charge in the planning and drafting of National Sports policies. They
are also responsible as a National Sports Council Secretariat and they coordinate people
works for the committee. Apart from that, this sector the coordinates matters related to
bilateral relations involving sports related issues. They also run promotions and generate new
agendas to help and enhances National Sports Council images and the programs that are
being organised under them to the general public. This sector plays a role in planning a data
collection and information on any sports related sponsorships industry.

9.0 Task/ Activity Planning and Responsibilities.
Proposal on Social Media Strategy
Since the rise of social media, companies have been trying to engage and interact with
their prospects, leads, and customers in a way that is more human. Social media produces
almost double the marketing leads of traditional outbound methods, but you can’t do this by
simply creating a page and mindlessly posting updates. You need to have a two-way
conversation with your audience on social media.
We have worked with Sportswork to complete this proposal due to the fact that we
have been told to proposed to the Head Director, Datuk Ahmad Shapawi Ismail and our
Minister of Youth and Sport YAB Syed Saddiq. The proposal is about giving ideas on how to
handle National Sports Council’s social media efficiently. To boost the engagement rate
between the organization and users to be much more involved on the current sports situation
in Malaysia. This strategy is to lure out organization to be potential sponsors for National
Sports Council.
A social media marketing strategy is a summary of everything that is planned to do
and hope to achieve on social media. It guides the actions and lets the organization know
whether it is succeeding or failing. Every post, reply, like, and comment should serve a
purpose. A social media strategy defines how the organization will use social media to
achieve its communications aims and the supporting platform and tools it will use to achieve
this. With the fast-growing technology around the world, National Sports Council (NSC)
should be prepared with how to adapt with the current tech culture efficiently.
At a basic level, it is a simple statement of intent, outlining the goals and measurable
objectives for using social media, and the target outcomes that is hoping to be achieved.
Knowing who the organization’s audience and stakeholders on what they want to see on
social media is key to creating content that they would like, comment on, and share which
can gain the organization exposure and awareness. It is also critical if the organization want
