AI Summary
This project presents a comprehensive system design for Family First Medical Center, a healthcare provider with multiple centers. It begins with an executive summary and delves into the acquisition strategy for implementing a computer-based system to replace manual record-keeping, focusing on the spiral acquisition model and key business considerations. The architectural design outlines the system's components, followed by detailed hardware and software specifications. The assignment also includes interface design elements, interface structure diagrams, user interface flow, and wireframe diagrams for adding employees and patients and viewing pharmacy revenue. Furthermore, the program design is described and structure charts are provided for processes like pharmacy license renewal, patient treatment, and nurse license renewal, alongside program specifications and references.

3Family First Medical Center System Design
1 Executive Summary
The Family First Medical Center is a health provider organization where they have various
health centers that offer medical care to the patients. The organization has various employees
who include the nurses and doctors where some are permanent while other are contracted
employees. The organization also has the pharmaceutical services where the patients are
provided with the prescribed drugs by the doctors, however the drugs and other facilities are kept
inventory where the reduced inventory stock prompts the pharmacists to order more stock from
the suppliers. The supplier’s details and the supplied stock is captured in the records.
In this report there are various aspect covered which includes the Acquisition Strategy ,
Architectural Design, Hardware and Software Specification, Interface Design, Interface Structure
Diagram, User Interface Flow, Wireframe diagrams, Program Design, Structure Chart, Program
Specifications.
2 Acquisition Strategy
Currently the hospital is keeping their records in manual form that makes them to face challenges
in record keeping, retrieving, trucking and updating, however the management has a high chance
of losing their records. The hospital management had therefore opted to implement a computer
based system to reduce those challenges and to make the operations more efficient and effective
and therefore this report will describe the proposed system acquisition strategy.
The acquisition strategy for the hospital information management system is a the top level
roadmap that will be used in providing the guidance on the acquisitions of the system and as a
result enable the acquisition process to be successful in terms of costs, schedules, delivery
capabilities, and qualities. The process has a wide life cycle that entails the initiating acquisition
through sustainment and focuses on highlighting and management of risk to get successful
system acquisitions out comes.
The below is the developed system acquisition strategies where the key system acquisition
components are highlighted , the selected acquisition strategy is used to control and to reduce
risks while acquiring along with other selected risks management and mitigations processes.
