Question 1
In this question, he is also a licensed medical practitioner. The ramifications or
consequences of the conduct of the researcher as a licensed medical practitioner to retention his
license are discussed in this question. There are various reasons for which a medical license of a
medical practitioner can be revoked. Those reasons are sexual misconduct, abuses of medical
substances, insurance fraud, abuse of patients, violation of medications, unethical behaviours
with patients or the other persons, malpractice, conviction of any case and any other reason
(Taylor, 2020). Any inappropriate sexual misconduct or harassment of the patients may be a
ground of revocation of the medical license of Professor Jahnhoff. However, there is no report of
sexual harassment of any patient; therefore, the license can be revoked on this ground. Such
common types of misconduct can occur any clinical research such as the use of inaccurate or
inadequate records, inadequate drug answerability, failure of reporting any adverse reaction of a
drug, failure to provide notice before any clinical research, any criminal records and many others
(Kim, 2018). In this scenario, Professor Jahnhoff did not make any such misconduct in his
research. The whistleblower has alleged that he has probably used any fake data or exclude
research participants without any proper reason, and the research outcomes may not be
appropriate. However, there is a difference between research misconduct and medical practice.
He does not make any conduct, which can be a ground for revocation of his medical license. The
alleged allegations are a ground of any research misconduct but not a ground of revocation of his
medical practice license. A mere exclusion of participants without any proper reason, and
without any proof of using fake data are not a proper ground to revoke someone’s medical
license. Therefore, he can able to retain his medical license.

Question 2
In this question, it has asked that if I am engaged as an assistant of the professor, then
what should I advise him to retain such a medical license. As an assistant of a researcher who
holds a license of the medical practitioner, there are many where I can advise him. The professor
should take consent of every participant prior to conducting any research on human bodies.
There should be consent paper where the participants will endorse their consent to participate in
that research. He should take permission from any ethical research committee to conduct any
research. The researcher should be kept all the reports of that research accurately. One of the
essential ethics of the research, which I should tell him that he should keep every confidential
information with him and it should be kept secret (Price, 2015). He should not violate any right
of the participant in that research. If there is any participant who is a female, then he must keep
any female assistant with him. The female participant may feel comfortable in front of any
female assistant. He should not make any research misconduct such as do not make plagiarism,
fabrication or falsification in his research.
