INTRODUCTION
Music is becoming one of the important need for people in current scenario. They like to
listen different types of music for the purpose of refreshing their mind. While talking about
Popular music, it can be explained as the situation where music is distributed among the large
audience by taking the help of different music industry. This types of music are formed with the
intention to distribute to mass so that sales and profit can be enhanced. In context of the file, the
music event which will be considered is Melbourne International Jazz Festival 2019.
MAIN BODY
The Melbourne International Jazz Festival, 2019 had taken place between 31st May to 9th
of June. It is one of the Jazz music festival which is being organised on regular basis. It is one of
the music festival which is being conducted at greater platform. Here, different venues are
decided which allows the person to understand and feel the music through different artist who
takes part in it. There is the main purpose of conduct this respective festival at different venue
just to ensure that people can get the opportunity to listen to different form of Jazz music as per
their willingness (Melbourne International Jazz Festival, 2019). Talking about the landscape of
event, it is one of those international music event which easily attract more number of good
listener of the music as it is attractive with quality of level in music. The performance of Ms Lisa
Fischer & Brand Baton were some of the artist who were new in this event where they can allow
the listener to bring some of the changes in the event as more interest can be developed. The
Artist like Rafiq Bhatia can allow to recreate the scene on some of the famous albums like
Breaking English, Yes it will and many more.
It is needed to understand that whenever any of the music festival is conducted, various
activities are being considered in which it is being checked whether music festival had
considered fashion as well style. It is because nowadays music listener even focuses on the way
of presentation of artist because most of them decide their fashion style by copying them. This
was one those festival where audience mainly prefer live and mediated form of music which can
allow them to feel the music (Hawkins, 2017). When it comes to social economic sense and
culture, it is being said that changes are required at each and every stage but the main thing
which audience like about the event where they are allowed to enjoy music by including
ambiance, food, drinks. The main motive of conducting this types of music event is to ensure

that different people from different part of world can listen to the live music. In addition, it will
also allow the viewers to understand that how music can help in any of the situation as it can be
one of the source to deliver any of the social message in the best possible manner. Whenever any
of the music festival is being conducted, it is needed necessary to ensure that different
technologies must be used to make sure that audience can enjoy the festival in best possible
manner. Looking at the importance of Jazz music festival, they uses live streaming, Chat bots,

this types of technologies at huge events make music more preferable and even large number of
audience can also be attracted easily. In addition, media from different does live streaming of
this events allows the audience from different part of worlds to listen Jazz music.
It was the music event which I was willing to attain since longer period of time because
in present scenario, Jazz music is at its best. It was one of those huge event where people from
different part of the world takes part and even shares their experiences. Looking at the sprite of
the participant and listener of the music allowed me to enjoy the music. It was one of those
biggest music festival which I had attained for the first time because similar form of opportunity
was not provided to me. Although, I had attained different music festival but that was not similar
to this. This types of events can be enjoyed only in that particular situation where people try to
attain with group as discussion can be done and in the same manner, I had also attain Melbourn
International Jazz Festivals with my friend who were habitual of attaining similar form of event
before as well.
There were number of singer who had taken part in it but the way Rafiq Bhatia presented
himself in the event was totally mesmerising. I like his one of the song which is “Yes It Will”. It
was among one of those song which simply has the meaning that people can do their work if they
can concentrate towards their work. When I was listening to this song, I was motivated because
there are certain stages in life where I was unable to take my decision but it was the song which
boosted me to perform much better. The main thing which I found within Melbourn International
Jazz festival is that music has the power to change or tackle with any of the situation because
music is always calm and compose which allow people to become happy. Social Function is one
of the most important aspect which I found while attaining the event (Turnbull and Waldner,
2018). I came t know that whenever any of the music is being composed they had some meaning
which is needed to be understand while listening to any of the music.

Popular music is a wider term which included different form of music. It is necessary that
people must try to understand try must try to listen to any of the music as per their willingness
and choices. It is crucial because only listening to music is not important because understanding
the concept behind any of the composed music helps people to feel the music. Economic
perspectives and cultural perspective is two different terms where economic perspective in any
of the music industry directly help the nation to raise the level of economic (Brown and Knox,
2017). For example: the event such as Melbourn International Jazz Festival earns the huge
amount of money where taxes are required to paid which allows the nation to earn the profit.
Any of the music industry can only earn profit in that respective situation where they will
be able to compose music on the basis of requirement of public at large. It is the responsibility of
music industry to look after any of the music which has been composed by the artist. They can
find out what are the preferences of the public and what types of music does they like because
that will allow the artist to compose only those form of music. Even if they find about the
choices and preferences of public at large then the management of music industry can try to find
out the best possible way to promote the music.
In current scenario, authentication plays the crucial role because it is one of the way
which allows the artist to represent their identity in front of the audience. Even there are number
of situation where music has tried to provide the identity to singer as well as the city where they
belong from or the place where they composes the music. In present world, there are number of
form of music such as rock, pop, Jazz, cultural and many more which means music has been
categorised into different form which allows the listener to make their own choice of listening
the song.
The era of listening any style of music has changed a lot. People mainly likes to take the
help of different technologies which makes listening to any of the music easy and comfortable.
For example, computer and different types of software can be used by the composer because that
will be the way to compose better from of music (White, 2016). It will allow to make the quality
of sound more smoother which must of the listener loves in present scenario. Implementation of
latest technologies has made the listening to music in the form of digitalisation. Digital form of
music is one of the reason that people can listen to music at any of the place at anytime.

Form the above file, it can be concluded that music has been one of the most important
aspect for the public at large. Whenever any of the people get the opportunity to listen to
different form of music then they allow themselves to learn something new on everyday basis.
Conducting any of the music event at a greater platform allows the music lover to attain and
enjoy the music.
