Homework Assignment
AI Summary
This assignment delves into the concepts of melting methods and the solar system, with a focus on applying the 5E instructional model and Bloom's Taxonomy. The student explores the objectives of a lesson plan, emphasizing the importance of comprehension and application within the framework of Bloom's Taxonomy. Furthermore, the assignment highlights the practical implementation of the 5E model, specifically the engagement and exploration phases, to facilitate student understanding and critical thinking. References are provided to support the concepts discussed in the assignment, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter. The aim is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the lesson plan and the educational approach.

1MELTING METHODS AND SOLAR SYSTEM
1. Objectives for each of the lesson.
In case of the first lesson, the aim of the teacher is to ensure a sound understanding of the
various states of an object and the methods to melt the objects.
For the second lesson the objective of the teacher is to ensure a sound understanding of the
solar system among the students, and encourage them to involve critical thinking.
2. The level of Bloom to Correspond.
Bloom had identified six levels consisting, knowledge, comprehension, application analysis,
synthesis, evaluation. Therefore, considering the chapter, and the objectives, it can be said, that
all the levels of Bloom can be integrated, however, considering the objectives of the teacher it
can be said that the two levels which can be associated with the Bloom’s Taxonomy, are,
Comprehension and Application (Selby, 2015). The basic approach of the teachers was to ensure
the understanding of the students, therefore, the levels of comprehension and analysis of
Bloom’s analysis can be integrated.
3. The step of 5E model for the objectives of the lesson.
The 5E model is a teaching sequence and model helpful for the teachers. There are five
consecutive steps that the teachers need to involve, and these steps are, Engage, Explore,
Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate. Therefore, the step or the steps that can be used from the
model are, Engage and the Explore (Desouza, 2017). The objective of the teacher is to make the
students engage and therefore make them explore about the subjects.
