report. The report that has been provided has stressed the importance of the on-site paging
system and the way it has helped with customer satisfaction. The report also explain in detail the
working of the pager which has helped us a great deal in understanding the effectiveness of the
pager and the way it will improve the sales of the Calgary store.
The on-site paging system that was developed by the company Beckon Inc. have been in
operation for quite some time now and according to the report provided Bargainers Drug Mart
Inc. has hugely benefitted from the product. The amount time that the customer waits in line to
get their product is not something that the customer prefers hence she/he chooses to switch to
some other drug stores. The store that Wellness Drug Mart has at the Calgary location has been
affected by the waiting time and the sales of the store has dropped considerably. The customers
are not ready to wait more than 15 minutes for any purchase. The sales at the store has dropped
by 12% solely because of the fact that they would rather go to any other store and but the product
rather than wait in line. Also another major factor is that the when the customers are told to wait
to let the pharmacist fill out their prescription, they would constantly ask the pharmacist, how
fast the medicines can be given and this disturbs the person filling out the medicine as they have

three kilometer radius. The pager as can be understood from the report will work perfectly in
increasing the sales of the Calgary store but the devise has to be tested on the store before it is
installed. The business at the Wellness mart has been stagnated for quite some time now so the
pager might help decrease the perception of the customer that they have to wait longer hours but
nothing can be said with assurance, the device has to be tested. The company needs to send some
devices for trial run and test whether it will work or not.
For the company to buy the pager, I would kindly request if Mr.Havier Perez can fly down to
Calgary and demonstrate the use of this device. Although the report has send by Mr. Perez has

Mr.Perez flies down to the store it will be easier for the people working there to understand how
the device functions and the stay with during a shift where they will be using the device for the
