Report
AI Summary
This report provides an overview of human memory, focusing on its functions and evaluation. It discusses how memory serves as a tool for decision-making by retrieving past experiences and adapting to similar situations. The report examines the evolution of memory, influenced by determination procedures, and how it helps in predicting future outcomes. It highlights the importance of functional memory in retaining relevant information and the role of memory in generating new ideas based on past experiences. The report also references studies and experiments that reveal how memory operates in various situations, emphasizing its adaptive nature and contribution to reproductive fitness. The article also explains how memory works in virtually applicable circumstances. The report concludes by highlighting the evolutionary perspective of memory and its ability to encode and store information for later retrieval, which is essential for survival.

Summary
This article describes that all those structures which are involved in the storage and
repossession of any information, i.e. statics or facts when needed represent the term memory.
Memory serves the way to make the right decision based on past events. Many psychologists
ignore the function of memory and belief in the evaluation of the memory. They argue that
with the passage of time memory evolved and such evaluation contributes to enhancing its
functions. Human nature is to struggle in various situations, and this struggle becomes
successful with evaluation.
The current article describes the evolved memory, sculpted by normal determination
procedures, at which point the work qualities probably have the "impressions" of the
genealogical footprints of choice. The analysts occasionally think about this probability and,
in general, overlook useful queries in their effort to see how human memory works.
However, one of the general favorable circumstances of receiving a useful point of view is
that it effectively lends itself to the era of new research. The article also explains how
memory works in virtually applicable circumstances. Thinking in a practical way, asking
questions about the "why" of remembering, should help to open new avenues of research and,
finally, provide the vital structure of observation and hypothetical to find "how" memory
works in an efficient and effective way.
Furthermore, this article suggests that memory plays a very vital role in the prediction
of the future. As when someone experiences something in the past, it remains in human
memory along with its consequences. Now if shortly, something similar happens then, the
human mind can predict the outcomes along with some strategies to handle the situation. This
explains the evaluation in memory. Secondly, functional memory can retain only relevant
information. In their daily lives, a lot of things happen in front of everyone. Memory works
very specifically. Everything is not going to be stored. A human mind can retrieve similar

content from the past in any current situation. one experience cannot be generalised in every
situation (Cronk,2007). If such a thing happens then, memory is malfunctioned. Memory
always provides potential solutions for the current problems encounters in the present
situations based on past experiences.
Some domain-specific studies were conducted to reveal the function of the memory.
For example, just like other organs have various functions, memory has a function to retrieve
the information in various situations but every individual has a different capacity.
The author suggests that evaluation in the memory has a basic purpose related to reproductive
fitness. There is always an improvement in reproductive fitness along with retaining all the
information which is necessary and relevant to the reproductive fitness.
To memory survival of human beings is the most important thing. The author
experimented. He randomly selected some words for the participants and asked them to listen
to them carefully. After some time, they were asked to repeat the words. Moreover, some
situation which is similar to the were presented to them to examine how they can recall the
relevant words which were compatible with the presented situation. An experiment conducted
among three groups. On evaluation, it was revealed that the average percentage suggests that
recalling the words was the easiest task. While recalling the words similar to the situation or
necessary for the survival in the relevant situations was a little bit difficult. The advantage of
the memory is its “survival” words which were essential for survival and were relevant had a
deep impact on the memory. All the irrelevant words went back in the unconscious but they
can be brought in the conscious by putting the individual in some relevant situations.
In terms of a function of memory, the most important thing is to survive successfully
in various situations through finding solutions. From a functional perspective, memory plays
a very vital role in the generation of new ideas based on the experiences of the past. Memory

operates in functionally appropriate circumstances. Evolutionary perspectives make it clear
that how any why memory operates in certain situations.
This article describes that human memory can be specified as the ability of the human
brain, which helps human beings to encode the information according to their perceptions and
then stored it in the brain (Nairne & Pandeirada 2008). Whenever they experience a similar
situation, they can easily retrieve the already stored information with ease. About memory, it
can be concluded that it is an informational processing system which have various categories
such as long term memory which is present in our unconscious but can be retrieved and short
term which is related to our conscious and readily available whenever needed therefore we
can say that this specific region which is related to our memory is always dedicated for our
survival via recollecting the information.
