Q1. In context of given patient, it has been analysed that mental state conditions includes
depression and suicidal thoughts which are required to be focussed by care professionals to
deliver appropriate care. It includes the habit of alcohol abuse which impact negatively on
mental state of the patient that is responsible for influencing the psychological problems or may
develop relevant complications accordingly.
Q2. The selected patient is suffering from the mental health problem of depression which has
several symptoms such as aggressiveness, feeling empty, sad, hopeless, thoughts of suicide,
drinking in excessive manner. It involves the major symptom of given patient is suicidal ideation
as well as excess drink of alcohol that impact potentially on mental state (Prokofieva, Koukia
and Dikeos, 2016). However, the condition of patient can be diagnosed with the help of carrying
out appropriate methods including mental state examination and CT scan to deliver accurate
treatment for them.

effective and healthy communication to improve the symptoms of patient. It includes to use
several effective treatment methods like medication including antidepressants, antianxiety &
