help in handling the stress, have relationship with other along with a proper understanding of
making the choices. Having a stable mindset is an important part at every stage of life from
childhood to adulthood. Due to impact of various reasons such as the biological factor, life
experience and family history, an individual can face the issue of mental problem. In this report
there are many cases will be discussed regarding the issue of mental stress in human being along
with recommendation. The report consist about a nurse Tim working in territory general hospital
in western Australia who uses to diagnosis the patient of mental illness and ensure holistic
nursing to all patients.

preventing and protecting risk factors for mental as well as physical health condition, it is
important for Tim and nurse to determinants of mental health. Mental health and well being are

health. In the context of reason and barriers it is identified that lack of understanding about
mental disorder is the main barrier to seek help as well as promote better mental health. Mental
health promotion involves all those actions and activities that help health care provider to
improve psychological well being. Some ways that helps them in improving and promoting
mental health includes socio economic empowerment of women, support for elderly population,
mental health promotional activities in schools, mental health intervention at work etc. By doing
all these activities, a health care provider or Tim can promote mental health and increase
awareness among all people.
