Mental disability in health
It is also called as mental health disorders where focuses on wide range of health conditions
or disorder that can impact one's mood, behaviour and thinking. Such as it includes anxiety
disorder, depression, eating disorder, additive behaviour, schizophrenia. Various people have
mental health concerns time to time but also it becomes worsen as signs and symptoms also
causes frequent stress as well as impact ability to function (Borsboom, 2017). Various sign and
symptoms can vary relied on circumstances, disorder and several factors. Such mental illness
also affect thoughts, emotions and behaviours. Mental illness causes by several environmental
factors and a variety of genetic factors. Several signs and symptoms are Long lasting sadness,
extreme change within moods, excessive anxiety or worry, withdrawal from friends and family,
Detachment from hallucinations, inability to cope with daily stress or issues Sex drive changes,
Excessive anger, Suicidal thinking, major changes within eating habits and many more.

for 2016/2017 within England as it focuses on agenda explains within the Five year Forward
view that provides a clear commitment in order to drive more equal response across physical
and mental health (Fried, van Borkulo,. and Borsboom, 2017).
Key commitments are
At least 50 % of individuals who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis must
commence treatment with NICE- approved care package in two weeks with the aim of enhancing
to 65% over the next five years from the April 2016. Also within the same year they will begin to
provide psychological therapies treatment to 75 % in six weeks and to 95 percent in 18 weeks.
By the year 2017 they will support CCGs in order to begin implementing plans so enhance crisis
care regarding all ages that also includes investing within places of safety. And also from the
year 2017 march they will also set out how areas will assures that young people and children
with an eating disorder commence treatment alongside approved care of NICE with clear waiting
times for both routine and urgent cases.

It has been analyzed that people who are suffering from mental health disability are
facing inequalities (Huang,, Wang . and Wang 2019). Thus, in order to reduce inequality in
health and social care the UK government can form a policy or start a campaign. This will help
in solving issue of inequality being faced by people. So, solution is defined as :
New policy- Here, UK government could form a new policy related to it. In this they can create a
new health policy where inequality is reduced in providing treatment to mentally disabled
people. Besides that, it will restrict practices that leads to creating inequality in mental health.
Along with that, government can collaborate with insurance company to provide financial
coverage to support people and treating them. In this way inequality in mental health disability
will reduce.
Launching a campaign- it is also a proposed solution that can be launched. Here, a campaign
can be launched to increase awareness about mental health disability. It will help in treating

person equally by providing health care services. Furthermore, it will enable in ensuring that no
inequality exist in society. The campaign will show message of equal health for all by which
people suffering from mental health are treated in fair way and manner (Jones, , Heeren and

Thus, these are two solutions which can be taken to address inequality in mental health
and ensuring that people are treated in fair way.

From the above it had been concluded that Mental illness causes by several

to cope with daily stress and many more. Within United Kingdom men aged from 40 to 49
considered as the highest suicides rates. Thereafter, Proposed solution at least 50 %must
