The essay gives an essential discussion on homeless in mental illness as a way of making
a majority of people to be homeless (Perry & Craig, 2015). For the practical realization of the
truth behind the research topic, extensive research was carried out to articulate the effect of
mental health. Accordingly, the research done by Lam, Arora, & Menchine, (2016) shows that
compared to those who have houses, the prevalence of severe mental is higher in homeless
people. In other words, the homeless individual has high chances of self-harm, personality
disorder as well as suicide attempts (Narendof, 2017). Therefore, identifying the means of
reducing the risk of the homeless is a considerable idea in minimizing the rate of mental health.
In simple terms, the use of the different ways of curbing the modified rate of homeless such as
creating awareness, talking with an audience by the use of charts or the persuasions likely to
reduce the heinous act of self-harm (Martin, 2015)
