Summary of the Study:
Mental Health issue has been becoming a major key element of economic and socio-cultural
participation in Australia; therefore, it has the main potential to affect revenue generation and
incomes of living and social bodies. Improvement in population mention health can be
supported in reducing costs to the economies and increase living standards over a long period.
In this critical research and literature review, it reveals mental problems that occurred in
children, family, and societies in Australia. To direct and emphasise these mental health
issues, narrow conceptual and theoretical frameworks, different research methodologies will
be used. This research paper will throw the lights over the dilemma of mental pressure,
conducting a quantitative survey, individual interviews with different professionals which will
represent both universal and social child and mental health services in Australia. Proper
problem statements, hypotheses and research questions will be discussed to examine the
discursive practices over research findings. The findings will be analysed in the context of
behaviours of children and social well beings in society at large. In the present scenario of the
country, this has to be a major reason for that has led to the consequences in the country.
When the health of the individuals of the country improves, then only a country could rise. A
proper and specific recommendation and potential research are represented concentrating the
need for mental and social issues with regard to Australian well beings.

Literature and Research Review:
Well, beings in Australia have been experiencing difficulties in the context of their mental
health. In these days, Mental illnesses, such as depression, anxiety such issues have become a
major contributor which are increasing the ill-health and mental disorder as Third largest
contributor in Australia and Northern Territory. According to Muskett (2014), around 57% of
Adults in Australia have already suffered from Anxiety, mood, depression and substance use
disorder. Around 26% of the Population has been suffering from such substance mental
chronic disorder (Muskett 2014).
According to Williams & Smith (2014), around 3100 of people are being died from mental
pressure and depression and suicide in 2017 and this average has become almost 11 deaths
per day which is higher in Northern Territory other than Australians. In Australia, people who
are getting depressed due to mental illness, lower incomes, lower expectancy rates, and
average life expectancy are suffering from major comorbidity factors other than the general
population. Sometimes lack of continuity in jobs, higher job expectations, and gaps in
supports from mental and average demographic groups create difficulties to scale up broader
and benefits for well - being living in Australia (Williams & Smith, 2014).
In this Literature review, focus has been given to the theoretical approach which reflects three
conceptual underlying assumptions: mental issues are running and constructed according to
mental torture to children. According to (Banfield et al., 2018). The main findings from the
Australian Mental Health and Wellbeing Survey describe an Adult Survey in which mental
health is emphasized from conceptual and philosophical studies and approaches of mental
disorders (Banfield, Barney, Griffiths & Christensen, 2014). Currently, people cannot find
any better research and investigation over such a problem to get over it and make a
comparison between mental and physical health issues to have proper treatment from such
issues. (Griffiths, Mendoza & Carron-Arthur, 2015).
Anxiety and depression have become a major element of chronic mental illnesses and
disorders which have been describing the reason for increasing health and public mental
concern in Australia. This paper will resolve and throw the light upon the fastest growing
chronic mental illness, emphasizes the objective measurement of mental activity in Australia.

Using different quantitative research methodologies, research questions, and hypotheses, it
will enlighten general practice encounters in mental issues in Australia (Slade, et al., 2014).
Cost of Mental illness in Australia:
In this Issue, Prince-Robertson et al., (2017) challenges to the requirement of treatment of
individualism in conceptual recovery order. In today's world, people are engaging in using
social media, roles of social interaction through a personal transformation which disturbs the
interpersonal network of the individual. People are addicted towards the computer systems
and with this ease, they are increasing the mental health issues in the country at an alarming
rate. According to the National Mental Health Commission, it is stated and described that the
cost of economic impact creates negative issues of mental disorder and illness in Australia.
Each year it is around $4000 per person & $60 million in aggregate. According to the report
of KPMG, Mental illness Australian investigation, it is stated that total workplace cost would
be $3200 per head and $5600 per head to overcome from it (Price-Robertson, Obradovic &
Morgan, 2016).
According to Telethon Kids Institute (2017), the Government has spent 1.3 million on
Medicare and subsidized on mental specific health services per person $50. Around $561
million is prescribed on the mental treatment of people as per the scheme of Pharmaceutical
Benefits Scheme (PBS) & another governmental scheme ($21 per person). The government
becomes responsible for the treatment of mental health services through funding and
regulating mental health services by territory governments. As per the Council of Australian
Government (COAG, 2017), it is described in the fifth National Mental Health & Suicide
Prevention scheme about the national approach to collaborate all governmental efforts to
reduce national mental disability (Telethon Kids Institute, (2017).

This literature and research review has been based on Data survey. According to Platell, et al.,
(2017), hospital emergency gave 276,974 mental health-related presentations to define health
relation emergency in 2016-17. Admitted Hospital care was given admission to 64692
patients at night and 258,300 overnight in 2017-18. This literature review is based on a
philosophical approach that leads to current perceptions of health and mental disorders and
issues which are arising day by day and affecting the routine life of the individuals in the
country. It is based on construction values, ideas and acknowledgment which focus majorly
on a critique on the mental health of Adult and professionals (Platell, et al., 2017).
As Zornado (2016) says, it has become impossible to disentangle all theories and concepts
line by line due to conspiracy and criticalness of human relationships and mental behaviour in
predominant culture. This review defines not only how people are being got affected by
mental pressure, but also it defines about paradigm which describes the conceptuality of
mental problems and issues. These historical and theoretical concepts give insight into
difficulties to associate with the validation of health issues and mental disorders in Australia
(Zornado, 2016). Issues related to mental health and illness has become a major public
concern in the context of health dilemmas which is accounted for 12% of the aggregate
disease load in Australia. (Robotham et al., 2016).
On the other hand, Anxiety disorder impacts 14.7% of the population in Australia once a year.
Australian with mental disorders notices complex and chaotic health pathways in primarily
health cases. People need time to time care, diagnosis, specialist to take care of mental health
services (Senate Select Committee on Health, 2015).

Purpose of the research and Justification:
Mental disorder and health issues can be defined as a classification of disease & a set of a slab
of disorders that are essential to be diagnosed as soon as possible. These are loss of
confidence, poor concentration, depression and changes in appetite, etc. The purpose of this
research is to focus on defining Mental Health issues and their impact among Australians
(Griffith, et al., 2015). This report will be used to describe all complemented results and
studies to the readers related to mental health issues impacts and governmental schemes. This
research will reveal the objective of the use of health services regarding mental disorders,
depression and perceived health needs. It reveals the risk of mental issues and measures of
general well - being. It is a well – known saying that when the health of the individuals of a
country is good, the country grows at a rapid speed. The survey will include quantitative
methods, qualitative methods, sampling issues, and different methodologies in the survey
interview (Meehan, de Alwis & Stedman, 2016).
Firstly, sampling has been used in one group of Population based on mental health survey
which provides limited information related to the mental dilemma and abnormal mental cases.
The major purpose of the survey is to define and represent the reliability of the following
report mentioned in the interview and survey. This research will give the details of technical
reports which will be associated with justification and conduction of the survey. (Wykes et
al., 2015)

Research Question and Hypotheses:
This research will be based on major findings and information related to mental health and
well - being including national surveys. In this survey, research will be revolved around
complementary studies of mental disability and issues, depression and mental pressure among
adults and professionals. Regarding this, to know such impacts from more depth proper
research Hypotheses or research questions were made to identify and analyse the results of the
survey through research and studies over children, adults and societies (Isobel, et al., 2017).
In this survey, the following research questions were revealed to give proper direction to
survey and know the actual and accurate reason behind such impacts of Mental Health Issues.
These were:
How many individuals are suffering from chronic depression/mental disability?
How many Australians have been facing difficulties in sharing their views, ideas due to
lack of confidence or due to mental disturbance?
Which kind of services are they using to target these disorders?
Does Health Services or mental psychotherapy help victims/patients to get rid of this
suffering or mental pressure?
How many people usually get ready to share their/their family’s mental health issues or
problems publically?

Research Methodologies:
This research methodology will include highly complex methods in a survey to measure and
conclude actual results related to the impact of health and Mental disorders. Utilities of
element qualitative approaches directly reflect the different number of ways to research the
actual result, on another side quantitative method will describe the quality and ability of
methodologies and work used in the survey in order to reveal the actual reason of increasing
mental health issues in Australia (Fletcher, et al., 2017).
The relevance of the Qualitative Approach:
The qualitative method will reveal several methods. In this report, it is used to focus on how
many professionals are there how are suffering from mental health problems in their family
and society. To highlight the potential of the qualitative method to the mental, philosophical
survey, inquiries related to qualitative approaches will be concerned in human interaction
through interviews. This generates the feasibility of results and enables the researcher to
describe the authenticity rather than hypotheses (Dove & Costello, 2017).
Research Design Methodologies:
The research design is the approaches that directly interact with the interviewee and
population to take their reviews and know their experience over the survey. This research
design is used for specific reasons to take the following conclusion into accounts:
To understand the language used by people and profe4ssional to communicate and share
their views over mental health problems.
To analyse "How the medical health services and professionals contribute to rectify and
continue the procedure of fragmentation related to child and mental pressure over adults.
To analyze the factors that help in engaging in contribute positive changes to reduce such
disorders increase good services facility for their clients.
To explore the factors and understand the dilemmas to reduce them and react and make a
decision accordingly (Reupert & Maybery, 2019).
