I need to work in a manner that incorporates cultural understanding, understanding and respecting the

and philosophies of mental health care and also adhering by the legal obligation by working with
integrity and by working in an ethical and in an upright way or process where I would adhere by the
philosophies or the norms of caring the mental health patients, showing respect towards them not
neglecting them, not rejecting their needs and requirements, supporting their beliefs, their views and

Negative stereotyping, stigma, and discrimination affect people with a mental health issue in a huge way
and these are the things that need not be done in case of mental health patient as this hinders the

Negative stereotyping can make the mental patient feel deprived, blocked and also can make the mental
patient feel humiliated. Stereotyping is all about labeling someone with one particular role or feature and
doing so for mental health patients is a derogatory one and it also is impacts their mental status and their

impacts them negatively as they feel left out and also feel neglected and isolated. These brings in a

communication technique includes one to one communication and this also can be used in the process of
negotiation and lastly client participation process can also be brought in that can help in negotiation of the
