INTRODUCTION
Mental health is defined as emotional, psychological, and social well-being. Mental health plays
a vital role in every stage of human development, which may be childhood and adolescence
based on adulthood. This usually affects people's thinking and abilities based on the feeling and
acting, which help determine and formulate the ability to manage stress, relate to others, and
make their own choices and decisions. In this report, the discussion is based on mental state
examination, which helps define the symptoms and intervention as per the case study. In the case
study context, some factors such as biological, life experience, and family history are analyzed
(Ainamani and et al., 2020).

MENTAL STATE EXAMINATION
General appearance Peter is 38 years old. He is an only child. Peter is tall, and during their
teenage age, they did not complete high school. Moreover, he is longer
disengaging from the study and education. He is facing school refusal
and no longer shows any interest in the career choice of becoming a
mechanic. As per this, his behavior and general appearance become
aggressive, face winked, and always offer the expression of angriness
and isolation from social groups and communities (Chuah and et al.,
2017).
Behavior There are several scenarios which provide and determination which
shows peter face complex situation with their pattern of thinking. They
majorly react abnormally with every case; he is verbally active and
becomes physically aggressive. Some of the points the family member
requested to leave home due to the safety of others. In this, Peter
moved to Queensland when he was at the age of 19. He is constantly
dealing with some factor that triggers him. He will become aggressive,
which may be a part of his mental condition that is stimulated due to
anxiety, irritation, and frustration. During Queensland's job, Peter
continues to display abnormalities that used to conduct the poor
relationship with the other male staff. He always became physically
aggressive with other ones.
Speech He is verbally active and becomes aggressive in some of the
conversations with others.
Mood and affect Peter is always facing severe mood swings, as per the case study
evaluation. It is identified that Peter has a higher mechanism for the
mood swing in which he becomes aggressive, and sometimes the
physical aggression has more chances to harm someone. Due to the
mood swing and aggressive behaviour, the interaction against others
becomes poor. It can affect the personality and overall behavior of

Peter.
Thought process As per this, the behavior dealing with some mental disorder identified
with the various incident evaluated from the case study. The change in
the thought process can create a serious issue with mental personalities
and their abilities. Peter faces anxiety and mood disorders (Cleary and
et al., 2019).
Thought content These feelings and acts are disruptive, which can cause severe issues
with other people, which is associated as part of the relationship. Peter
faces anxiety and depression, which relativity follows the condition.
Perception Peter has several complex situations, and with this, the formulation of
perception is rising. With this, they have diverse thinking with the
environment, and he used to react as according to their nature, usually,
the person with a mental health condition are clam but sometimes, due
to some of the incidences the critical factor the Peter has been trigger
which can cause a severe issue with other. Aggressive behavior usually
arises when people disagree with a person with a mental health
condition.
Cognition The cognition skill of Peter is weal because cognition is defined as the
mental abilities or the thinking skill used to allow a person or the
individual to perceive, acquire, understand, and, which is helpful to
show the response associated with regularity from the environment. In
this case, Peter's biological response toward the emotional attachment
is weak, and he does not correct this. The quick, aggressive response is
the primary cause of mental illness where people do not use their
cognitive abilities (Fitzgerald et al., 2017).
Indication of the
critical stage of mental
issue
Peter refused to take the medication and acknowledged that he was not
mentally ill or unwell. Majorly he refuses to accept the medication and
drugs such as Diazepam and Xanax and social drinking. Moreover,
some of the incidents are associated with Peter, who used to assault his
uncle and police. In this, the uncle does not file any case or a formal

complaint regarding the assaults. Whereas, the case studies' evaluation
identified that the peter family history is majorly associated with the
mental problem. Peter's father is suffering from a breakdown that can
create depression, but he was never diagnosed. At the same time, his
paternal grandfather had committed suicide after suffering from the
condition of PTSD. In this, her sister is also diagnosed with the
situation of anxiety.

Long-lasting irritability
In this case of Peter, he is dealing with anxiety and irritability, which is found while
studying the case study. These symptoms are well associated with a peter case study. He is
usually irritated with some of the talks and interactions with people. This happens due to the
release of the stress hormone, which surges into action and enters into the fight and fight
mentality that is usually shown in the case of Peter. To reduce this, Peter must take their
perspective and try to isolate from that place and figure out some sources to calm down the stress
and irritation. Apart from Peter, sometimes caffeine and alcohol also act as trigger points that
follow the condition of aggression.
Anxiety
To minimize anxiety, it is crucial to configure some way that enables barriers for
reducing stress. As per this, Peter must follow some of the good habit which help to provide the
beneficial aspect which is basically regularising sleep time, meditate, eat healthy diet and also
some of the approach towards physical health which play a vital role in the development of good
physiology. In this, regular exercise is always a good habit for physical and emotional health. As
per this, proper exercise and meditation enhance patience and comfort, allowing Peter to control
their anger and manage their stress (Graham and et al., 2020).
Mood disorder
For the minimization of disorder, the natural tendency applicable to reduce the mood disorder is
to conduct and do regular exercise and take adequate sleep. Healthy food habits such as eating
fish and omega-3-fatty acid can lead to creating a good diet. Several vitamins and supplements
are. Moreover, Peter focuses on this because it is helpful to control mental conditions that are
damaging and create complexities (Tol and et al., 2020).
Change in feeling
As per the case study, this analyses that most people agree that their emotions can be
caused by specific events, which can open and show the events associated with the person
experiencing it is aware of the cause. In Peter's context, he did not finish school and lost the
career he chose to make in mechanics. Such failure can cause an issue with change behaviour
which adhere and generate complex situation with Peter. It all emotional factor is developed and

build as per time. With the time it turns into complication and become part of peter life as
personality and attitude.
Societal isolation
The primary cause of developing mental issues is isolation from society and
communities. The central theme of the social group and community is to build interaction and
communication with several people who provide their thought and experience to live life, which
helps to reduce the impact of stress while analysing the other reviews.
Refuse to accept as mental ill
They play a significant issue associated with people with mental health conditions who
do not get themselves as mentally unwell. In some cases, they show violence and refuse to take
drugs and medicine, which is provided for the improvement of mental condition.
