Introduction
Aboriginal culture of the Australia, represent the culture that has been survived from the very
oldest time of the world using the technology of stone tool and red ochre pigment paintings
which exist over 60000 years. There are certain cultural barriers about the health and safety of
the indigenous people of Australia. The nonindigenous health workers are consistently assisting
the indigenous people to refine the term of the cultural barrier and resolve the issues that create
the cultural barrier. Trent being an aboriginal has to face such cultural barrier that is to remove
for the betterment of him and his family.
Part 1:
1. Some of the ‘cultural Barrier’ that is used to address as a worker
The barriers to the health and culture of the aboriginals or the people belonging to minority
community are to be taken steps for the wellbeing of them. The cultural barriers are
differentiated by the aboriginal patient and the health workers. The patient belonging to the
aboriginal family does focus on social relations and trends of trust and respect. The people of this
community comfortably feel the changes of physical environment and the system, however, put
less interest for the creation of strong communication with the relationships.
2. The possible threats that may arise if the problems of Trent are left to
progress without any intervention.
Trent belongs to the aboriginal family and has to face various cultural barriers. He has to live
separated from family to a youth center for the tendencies he has with him. The separation from
the community and his family would cause more rise in tendencies he has according to health
care workers. He might get more frustrated from the loneliness and the separation from an own
family member. The youth may become more violent in his activities including emotional and
verbal abuses like insults, humiliation and constant criticism. He might not be able to
communicate in later time with social and his family.

3. The strategies that are to be taken for the reduction of barriers within the
family member
To remove the relationship barriers between the family member, there should be mental
encompassing, and positive belief on the spiritual and the cultural health. According to
Dumbrigue, Moxley & Najor-Durack (2013), there should be an identification of the strength of
the indigenous people. There need to improve the access over the mental health care
responsiveness. Reducing of the barrier of cultural diversity it needs an understanding of human
right respect. There should be a focus on the children, young people, families, and the
community. There should be an improved access over the response of mental health care. A
family member should take care of the patient suffering from any mental stress and provide
safety feeling to the patient suffering from such mental health disorder.
4. The estimation of the level of risk in the Trent’s situation
Trent is suffering from mental health stresses and reacts before proper thinking. He has been
detached from his family as well as his sister did attempt suicide a few months before. In this
situation, Trent may become more frustrated and may harm himself or other heading towards
him. He is attending the youth center in court's order, however, cannot overcome the situation
faced by him unless the family member behaves closer to him as a part of the treatment that can
kill the mental stress of Trent. To reduce stress, Trent smoke marijuana and without any
treatment, this smoking may enhance in taking other addictive material like alcohol, drug and
may fall physically sick along with the mental sickness that ultimately leads to death which is not
appreciable by a family member. His sister may also try to suicide further in the absence of her
brother.
5. Three ways that may be asked the individual about specific thought or
plans of taking someone’s life
The individual may be asked the way he would kill the victim in some specified ways that may
make it clear the intention and the ways of killing somebody. It may be asked why the individual
want to take the victims life. The thought about the victim may be asked to the individual for the

correct intention and personal anger if any exist. Lastly, there should be a question about the
killing plan that has been in the mind of the individual. All these ways can help to understand the
motive and plan of killing and can be taken some preventive measures that can save the life of
the victim.
6. The action that can be taken to promote the safety of the individual
The individual has to take care for the promotion of safety of him. The individual should be
properly counseled for the thought of killing someone. According to Bond (2015), the motivation
has to be understood and suggest him the after effect that may occur by killing somebody. There
should occur making him calm for the anger that may be provoking the individual for
committing murder to the desired person. The suggestion can be given to retaining in healthy and
harassment free life, and it can only happen by not committing the murder. Finally, the ill effects
that can occur by killing someone are for awareness of the individual and these can promote
safety to him.
7. The processes for the strengthening the individual
The individual has to be properly judged for the killing motivation. He must be made understood
the crime yet to be committed and the problem that may arise to the family member of the
victim. He is to be cared by his family member and the health counselor for the wellbeing.
According to Walsh (2015), the individual has to be cared by the law and has to take some
preventive measure for the murder of someone. The individual has to be taken to the health and
social care organization for the proper mental treatment for which he might be in the position of
taking one's life.
8. The processes to contact the emergency medical services in the imminent
suicide case
In the case of an emergency suicide case, the ambulance and police attendance are to be called
for the transportation and first steps that to be taken for such patient. The poison information
center has to be contacted for the purpose to know about the poison and the necessary steps for

the emergency cure method if can be opted. The emergency contact had to collect from the local
counselor or the internet website of the hospital and called to it for the quick response taken for
the treatment of the patient. From the local councilor or the health and social care departments,
the contact details can be collected by the mental health crisis team.

Strategies of Internal cope
ups
Coping skills based on the action is inclusive of direct dealing to
the stress causing factors such as job findings of a person who has
financial problems or making preparation for examinations.
Whereas the coping skill which is based on the emotional factors
are related to the decrease in the symptoms of stress not pointing
the actual source of the stress. Psychological consultants need to
teach effective skills of coping up with the suicidal tendencies of
the people who did attempt suicide or have such tendencies.
According to Iverson et al. (2013), this to be done for especially
women or people having less educational knowledge. There
should be knowledge about the adaptation of not committing
suicide by the patient. Psychological treatment has to be taken
from the psychiatrist for the removal of tendencies of committing
suicide. There should be research for the identification of
strategies for coping up with people who did attempt suicide. The
coping method of men and women are different from each other.
Women use emotions for the purpose of focus over the problem
arising from the tendencies of committing suicide. The men focus
on the problem that encourages committing suicide. Thus the
every way for stopping the suicide tendency has to be aware by
the social and health care organizations; psychiatrist and law
using their respective methods of making the patient cope up with
the dangerous tendencies.
Distraction by social method Distraction is referred to as removal from something, and the
distraction from suicide attempts is to keep away from the thought
of committing suicide. Social means are very helpful to distract
from the suicidal thoughts. The person suffering from the issue
may be kept socially busy for the distraction from such thoughts.
Attaining social fare and parties may reduce stress from the mind
of the person, and it helps to stay calm without the harmful

thoughts. Involvement in some social activities that temporarily
diverts the patient from suicide attempts. There should be
activities that reduce pain awareness from the mind, and this
keeps the victim alive for the longer time without any
disturbances in the brain that may cause the rise of thought of
suicidal attempts. Social awareness and the steps taken by the
social activities can pass the hours that agonize. According to
Ishii et al. (2016), watching television and movies are some of the
primary ways to distraction. While watching television one can do
some other works, and this would add advantage to create another
dimension which provides company to the victim. Working for
social services locally can reduce mental stress and the frustration
and hence reduce the tendencies of committing suicide. Doing
exercise daily in the garden where many people gather do reduce
mental frustration and so the suicide attempts.
Assistance from social
support
There needs some social support for the prevention of suicidal
attempts. Developments of groups which are led by professionals
in the relevant field are for prevention of suicide attempts. Social
people can promote suicide prevention programs that are based on
the community. The risk behaviors are to be screened and reduced
by psychological flexibility programs which do promote
connectedness and optimism. According to Mok et al. (2014),
various educations dealing about the factors of suicide inclusive
of risk factors, warning signs help availed by social campaign and
issues related to stigma are to be promoted for the wellbeing of
the people, and this would reduce the suicidal tendencies.
Substance abusing by legal processes and reduction of domestic
violence are the strategies to control suicide attempts. The less the
access over the poisonous and toxic substances and less
knowledge about the ways to kill oneself, reduce the killing self.

Promotion of school-based competency programs that enhance
the skill of controlling the suicide attempts are the means of
controlling such harms. The harm factors reduction process need
some assistance from the social support which can include the
usage of ethical surveillance systems and the interventions which
are targeted at the higher risk. There is some research on the
protective factors and growth of clinics which help the patients to
reduce suicide attempts.
Assistance by professional
support
The suicidal attempts need very much attention for the prevention
of the same as it is not supported by the law and the society. The
professionals, who are related to this field and are trained to
provide knowledge and have prevention methods, need to
communicate with the people having tendencies of such suicidal
attempts. According to Wintersteen & Diamond (2013), the
organizations who work for the awareness of the society and the
people are there to help the people for providing the necessary
knowledge for the preventive measures of the mishaps. The
education society professionals visit various places and do the
survey for the issue lead to make aware of the matter to more
people, and this would help the people, who don’t have such
tendencies; to prevent from the developing of suicide thought that
might suppose to rise in mind. The psychologist needs to council
people and spread the prevention methods for the reduction of
suicidal tendencies. Education societies are there to help aware
people by providing about the ill effects of suicide, and the after
effects of the family member of whom the member had
committed suicide. The government and its law need some
preventive measures for the strict prevention of the people to
commit suicide.

Suicidal means need remove
access
The suicidal risk is very much amplified whenever the patients
report about some specified plan for killing themselves which
includes a lethal method that is readily availed. Depending upon
the lethal methods, the implementation of the decision for the
removal of the methods does vary. The clinic professionals are
needed to ask the patient about the means they consider for a
suicidal crisis. The clinic should keep the record of the patient
about whether he is keeping access to the harmful materials and
topics that enhance the probability of committing suicide. The
importance and the urge of restricting access of lethal method are
much taken for higher lethal ways. The clinic person must be
aware of restricting the access of lethal methods that does not
provide the guarantee to the patients for the safety as they decide
to use other methods that are lethal (Draper et al. 2014). Some
specified behavior is required to make patients safe for the
environment that should be included in the safety plan for the
reduction of the tendencies of suicidal attempts. The safety
measure is to be taken for the protection of the people those are
occupying the tendencies of committing suicide. The access to the
materials and the knowledge that are engaging the people for
committing suicide are to be removed from the access of the
people who tends to do suicide.
Agreement to follow up The suicide attempting people are not treated well in the society.
They face very problematic issues from the various points of
mishaps. The patients those are trying to, or attempted suicides
are needed to care well as they have retained the tendencies for
the further suicide attempts. The patients need proper council
from the psychiatrist for the mental crisis and need to be cured for
any stress occurred to the mental pressure. According to Heisel et
al. (2015), there should be certain measures to be taken for the

prevention of such issue and this there should be proper
understanding to the patient and make the patient agree for not
trying to do such matter again. The agreement should be about to
perform the activities that are related to safety measures for not
having the suicidal tendencies. There should be the
comprehensive assessment of suicide risk that is to be conducted,
and proper plan of treatment is to be done for the patients. There
should be social support and stable medical for the person. There
needs Agreement from the patient to return to mental health
service the intention for suicide return. Proper steps are to be
taken for addressing towards the factors dealing with the
psychological precipitation.
Conclusion:
The study thus concludes the fact about the stress related to mental health can lead to committing
suicide. These people having such tendencies are needed to be carefully judged and given
treatment in some friendly manner. A clear follow up has to be there for the protection of
patients and make them live longer.
