INTRODUCTION
This research proposal is based on three trends that are Sustainability, Covid 19 and
Innovation. These are major trends that have direct impact on business performance of an
organisation (Ebersberger and Kuckertz, 2021).
Aim:
Main aim of this proposal is “To identify three trends and their implications on business
performance of an organisation”. A study on Mercedes Benz
Objectives
To identify the three trends that linked with business organisation.
To determine the impact of those trends on business performance of Mercedes Benz
To examine the challenges faced by Mercedes Benz because of those trends.
BACKGROUND OF THE COMPANY
Mercedes Benz is a German automotive company that is specialise and well-known for
producing commercial and luxury vehicles. Company was founded in 1926 by Karl Benz,
Gottieb Daimler. There are three trends within this organisation which are Sustainability, Covid
19 and Innovation (Ranjbari and et. al., 2021).
REASON FOR CHOOSING THE THEME
Main reason behind choosing of this them is to identify the major issues of are
Sustainability, Covid 19 and Innovation for Mercedes Benz.
THREE TRENDS TO THE BUSINESS
There are three major trends of Sustainability, Covid 19 and Innovation. These are important
and essential for growth and success of business organisation. Innovation helps business
organisation in increasing of their sales and profitability (Quatrini, 2021). Sustainability is also
important for company because it attract larger base of customers.
KEY ISSUES OF BUSINESS WITHIN THREE TRENDS
Covid 19 is a biggest issue because it reduced sales and profitability of company.
Without sustainability Mercedes Benz not fulfil their corporate social responsibility.
Without innovation company not increase customer base that result in decrease sales.
