There was a time when I was representing H&M as a Sales Advisor. I was posted in
an H&M store where I had around 20-30 people working under me in that store.
During seasons and festivals the crowd reaches the peak and it sometimes used to
difficult to attend all of them. In order to manage the crowd I had divided my team in
three sub-teams (Xuejie et al., 2019). The female section which was downstairs had
the most number of crowds and it required better management so I had appointed 9
people to manage the female section of the store. These live experiences will be
very useful for me to work as a Merchandise Administrative Assistant at Arcadia.
The most experienced employees were given the job to persuade the employees for

hand and vintage clothes was a challenge for us (Glanz et al., 2016). This needed
efficient marketing strategy where the sales people would go and persuade the
customers to buy products even if they have to pay more.
I advised the production department to use biodegradable raw materials in order to
manufacture the products. Biodegradable products are expensive as compared to
others but our aim was to market and sell it at any cost. I convinced my seniors and
the marketing team that until and unless we offer the biodegradable clothes to the
customers at a cheaper rate they would not be convinced to buy it in the long run
(Snider et al., 2017). We kept the prices very low making a thin profit margin for us

becomes very easy to apply as well.
A week later I got a call from the HR manager. The job was based in another
city so I had to travel to London for the interview as the manager wanted to do
a face-to-face interview because the role of the job was quite big (Bowden
and Galindo-Gonzalez, 2015).
The interview went really well as I had expected it to be. The interviewer was
very nice and jolly and made me feel very comfortable during the course of
the interview.
I am looking forward for a call from the HR.

It was a late night in the month of June and I was scrolling through the internet
and I came across this really exciting job of Merchandise Administrative
Assistant at Arcadia. Arcadia being one the biggest retail store in London
convinced me to apply for the job.
