Reynolds and Teerikangas, (2016) said that, merger and acquisition is referred to as the consolidation of two
companies by merging all the assets and liabilities in order to operate as one single company. On the contrary
when company tends to take over other company this is referred to as acquisition. Ahammad and et.al., (2017)
sought to evaluate that, merger and acquisition is beneficial because it helps in generating greater value for the
business. They also get tax gain benefits which in turn leads to revenue enhancement. This is considered to
be one of the cost efficient method where it is very useful in overcoming the current situation. Angwin and
Meadows, (2015) argued that, the major limitation associated with the merger and acquisition is that,
bigger company tends to create greater monopoly in the particular market. It also results in communicating
with the employees of varied culture.

considered to be in a great position which in turn largely influences the operations of the business. Increasing
the capabilities of the company in order to make a good position in the market is considered to be one of the
most important factor which influences company to carry out merger and acquisition.
