INTRODUCTION
Graduation as well as post graduation is important in student life. Thus, there are various
activities of organisation that is executed for achieving goal and objective in pre-decided period of
time. The Sainsbury’s is determined as a biggest company that is situated in UK. The company
offers different kinds of products such as groceries, consumable items and so on. This organisation
runs their organisation at international level. This report focuses on different types of functions and
activity of company and they are linked with each other and academy skill required for successful
undergraduate (Clarke, 2018).
TASK 1
Examine how different business functions are important & demonstrate their link with each other
The activities of company execute in proper manner for completion of goal in pre-decided
period of time. It is significant to use this function in such a way that assists in enhancing profit in
upcoming time period. There are different types of activities of companies such as operation
function through which process is executed for producing goods and services of different types of
organisation who perform their function for producing goods and services. HRM is determined as
an activity that assists in recruiting and selecting proper applicant from many candidates during
specific period of time. The primary purpose is to enhance level of productivity in upcoming time
period. In assistance of this, the functions of marketing include execution of various factors that
increases sales in upcoming time period. Furthermore, the functions related to finance assists in
auditing, accounting and so on.

Academic skill is important for students that help in achieving goal as well as objectives in
stipulated period of time. There are various types of skill that is needed or required by students such
as communication skill. This type of skill helps in attending seminar, lecturer, coaching and so on.
Thus, it is significant or important for students that assist in achieving objective in an appropriate
manner. In assistance of this, academic technique is considered as significant that is adopted in
proper manner. The communication assists in increasing understanding that helps in achieving
confidence level. The academic skill assists student in becoming successful undergraduate student.
Moreover, it assists in increasing knowledge that is connected to learning in proper way. And, also

there is appropriate awareness in respect of innovative method by which there are different skills
accessed. Hence, the above given skill are beneficial for student in career in upcoming time period
