INTRODUCTION
The present report is based on detailed analysis of four main challenges that was faced by
an individual during their graduation. In which these four challenges assist students in enhancing
their prominent skills in order to get success & growth in future (Waisbord, 2019). Skills that are
acquired by the students during graduation along with challenges faced by them are discussed
below. Factors which help them for developing these skills with the help of action plan will
discuss in this report.
MAIN BODY
Four challenges
Debate challenge:
This is considered as an important challenges and carry out with the aim of enhancing or
improving various skills as it is related with the sharing or arguing on a specific topic. Or in
other term it is a process that includes formal discussion about a specific topic. In debate
opposing argument are imposes in order to argue for opposing the viewpoints of opposite party.
In a formal debate contest, there are so many rules that need to be followed by all participates for
discussing and deciding the differences within a framework. So in this there is requirements of
effective communication skills in order to influence the opposition party as well as for presenting
themselves so that opposition party will understand clearly (Johnson and Hackman, 2018). As
well as this activity is carried out in a group of people so for this there is need of unity and
management for presenting themselves as a team. Team management refers to an ability for
effectively managing the team members so that all individual of team will effectively able to win
the debate challenge. This is a times based activity and for the time management is important.
During my graduation I participated in such types of challenges and my topic of debate was “ are
advertisements beneficial or not” with time limit 5 minutes. For this I need good
communication skill, time management skill along with team management in order to present
themselves in attractive manner. As well as for wining the heart of judges and from that I have
improved all these my skills so that in future I will able to combat with all these. As a result it
refined my so many skills that helps me in gaining future goal.
Presentation challenge:

Presentation challenges refers to involvement of students and give them opportunity to
shares their idea and knowledge on a specific topic in form of presentation. This activity helps
students in various ways such as in converting the collected data into eye catching and creative
presentation from audiences. This is vital in order to win the hearts of individual with effective
communication and presentation skills. This particular challenge help me to improve my
communication skills as I showed my power point presentation to associated personnels. This
activity helps me to effectively manages my self as number of question asked during presentation
and that increases my non-verbal communication skills as presentation leads me to present
myself along with gather data in effective and understandable manner with inventive approach.
With the help of such challenge I have learned so many strategies for effectively presenting and
communicating with the audiences along with my team members. In which it offers me
opportunity to experience team work skill among my team members of group. From this I am
able to focus on my task effectively by managing all activities and removing my self from that
environment that distract me for taking participation. So from this my time management skills
also improve. After that I effectively follow my schedule as well as help me prioritising the most
important task and finish that before deadline (Unwin and Unwin, 2017). So I am able to manage
my self my improving time management skill. So this challenge taught me various things that
help me to implements number of task successfully. The participation in presentation challenges
become helpful for me as it build and improved my so any skill that are needs to getting success
in future.
T-shirt challenge:
T-shirt challenges refers to that which is related with the creation of logo, brand symbol,
marketing strategy as well as sales strategy by considering cost effectiveness with the aim of
selling of T-shirt. So by taking part in this challenge I refined my communication skills as it
required influencing power in effective and well mannered so that visitors or consumers will get
influence and by my product. This is a team based activity and that requires effectively
management of all team as well as unity in team in order to get success. Effective
communication in team is vital as sharing of ideas and viewpoint are important for attaining
predefined aim. This process effectively improves the team work capabilities. During this
challenges we need to formulate all strategies that are needed to sell product. For which it is
necessary to manage time and by finishing all task before deadline we manage our time and form

that I have learn how to effectively manage time. Afterwards I am able to mange my time and
refined my time management skills (Kaushal, Jain and Kar, 2017). Additional this enhances my
presentation skills also because it requires presentation in innovative and creative way for
selling T-shirt.
Hotel challenge:
This challenge prominently related with the influencing or attracting consumers towards
services offered by a hotel. In this students need to make relevant strategies which make them
success by wining this challenge. I took participate in this challenge during by graduate for
effectively utilizing my prominent required skills. For which I have formulate strategies in which
I gave suggestion to my team members like we can offer holiday packages, free breakfast with 3
nights stay, pool party, a separate ground for hockey and so many other strategies in order to
influence consumers. As well as the main and primary thing that influences consumers is the way
of taking with them. For which it is vital to carry out formal conversation in that manner by
which they feel friendly (Tufte, 2017). And that all required some skill such as effective
communication skill, team management skill and time management skill as well as some
technical skills in order to maintain the data of visitors in excel. That time I have related that I
am weak in excel and that I need to improve in myself for career growth. So from this skill I
have analysed that I am weak in excel and that I need to refined.
Action plan
An action plan can be defined as a list of all task that an individual wish to complete for
meeting an objective or predefined goal. Action plan provides guidances & short path to an
individual for achieving large objective. In relevance to this SMART action plan assist person
for attaining objective effectively as it includes all activities which help to build a series of
guidelines for accomplishment of goal. For improving my skills I have devised an action plan
with the aim of improving different skills.
Specific: Each and every task need to be specific with a particular goal as chasing a
specific objective require more efforts in order to get that. It make sure the completion of task in
short spam of time. For improving my communication channels I have chosen some specific goal
such as improving my vocabulary I order to make audience understandable for this I have
decided to take part in activities of college related to this. Additionally, in those activities which
can improve my abilities to manage team work.

Measurable: To measure effectively, the progress related with the completion of task, it
is vital to assess accurately and easily. Signal of progress in order to select objective is carried
out on the basis of societal norms of skills and projects. In order to improve my skill I
formulated a schedule for measuring the improvements of my skills. As well as I take feedback
on regular basis from my team members with relevance to quality and contribution as well as to
check the progress of my communication skills. Further, if my confidence level level get
improve and I will able to speck with confidence in public then my communication skill get
improved.
Achievable: For improving all theses skill I need to conduct effective research as well as
to take participate in all activities that will held in college as well as to take help of my
colleagues for the same.
Relevant: It is vital in order to get success in future as well as to get relevant degree by
considering the zeal with capabilities along with time. So that objective will be attain.
Time bound: To improve all these mentioned skill & activities, my target time is within 3
years by imposing hard efforts.
CONCLUSION
From above discussed report it has been analysed that there are numbers of challenges
held during my graduation like presentation, debate, t-shirt challenge & hotel challenge in order
to improve some skills like communication, presentation, Time management & Team
management. All these challenges help individual for acquiring some important skills for gaining
success in future as well as to accomplish the present goal.
