Introduction
The primary motive of this study is to focus on the four compulsory challenges which can
helpful to develop the various skills which are need to be develop the mindset of the candidate.
There are various factors which can helpful to improve the skills and prospective of the
individuals. There are various challenges are considered by the people which can useful to
enhance the effectiveness and capabilities. In this project, reflective statement is considered in
which various kinds of challenges like debate challenge, presentation challenge, T-shirt
Challenge and Hotel Challenge.
Main Body
An analysis of each challenge
1. Debate Challenge
In order to lean about the debate challenges, I have conducted a debate with the another
students in front of my tutor on an different topics so that I can effectively learn about the
challenges and maintain good identification so that I can appropriately determine all these
challenges and try to resolve the debate challenges. The main motive to conduct the debate is
that which can helpful to analyze the factors and take appropriate decisions on a particular
situation. It is determined that debating will aid in the development of critical faculties, which
are necessary in everyday life ( Graf, 2017). The capacity to produce well enough & reasoned
debate while simultaneously challenging the facts supporting a certain premise or attitude is
perceived as a negative thinking. There are various things are facing by me in order to conduct
the debate as a challenge which are given below -
 Gaining a comprehensive, multi-faceted understanding of a variety of the topics outside
of the learner's regular university courses.
 Providing an activity that is entertaining, active & learner-centered

 Improving students' capacity to develop well-balanced, well-informed argumentation, as
well as their ability to reason and use evidence.
 Improving member & reasoning skills.
 Improving the capacity to arrange and organize thoughts.
 Improving students' analytical, researching, and note-taking skills saves lives.
 Boosting students' self-confidence, composure, and self-esteem.
 Composing and delivering good speeches is a skill that can be learned.
2. Presentation Challenge
There are various factors are involved which can useful to improve the presentation skills and
overcome the challenges. For this task, I have prepared the presentation on Tesco organization
which is most effective. The main topic of the presentation is the “performance evaluation of the
Tesco”. In this presentation, I have leaned various things and face challenges related with the
presentation. Some appropriate challenges I have experienced are give below -
 It's off to a bad start.
 Make an impactful opening to your presentations.
 Failure to respond to the viewer's issues.
 You're boring your listeners.
 Failing to connect with others on an emotional level.
 Using a lot of jargon
 Being very verbose or rambling
 Going beyond your time limit.
3. T-shirt Challenge
There are various challenges which I have faced during the designing, allocation the work,
communication, pricing strategies. The explanation about the T- shirt challenges are as follows-

 Reasons of choosing this Design – This design is pretty appealing in appearance, as it
depicts Googles on a T-shirt, where everybody prefers to wear for fashionable and
innovative reasons. It has a basic and appealing design, but the colors are not particularly
brilliant, making it unsuitable for youngsters. It is a neutral color which the majority of
customers enjoys and appreciates.
 Pricing strategy of market - The Corporation must assess the customer's status and
purchasing power and determine a price for products that is advantageous to the
customer. When a firm notices that a customer has the financial means to pay more than
before, the corporate might raise the costs of the goods. Selling a product for a lesser
price can entice buyers to acquire it, and after conquering the market and gaining
customers’ confidence, the firm may raise the cost (Kurtz and et. al., 2017).
 Target market – The target market is a specific segment of the market where the
university will develop promotional campaigns and tactics in order to gain market share
and expand sales. I needed to focus on socioeconomic, regional & physiological
segments that would result in successful revenue.
 Competition for Product - The T-shirt Company’s point of differentiation is that it
incorporates creative design concepts to add features of ease, style, and affordability. For
its apparel, the brand assures the highest quality materials, as well as the strength of each
and every stitching and the pleasure of skin-friendly materials.
4. Hotel Challenge
This considered as the most effective graduate challenge. In order to learn about the working
of the hotel, it is necessary to identify the terms, conditions, working policies and procedures of
the hotel. To identify the challenges in the hotel, I have joined a hotel so that I can effectively
learn the appropriate skills to deal with the hotel challenge. There are various hotel challenges
which are mainly experienced by me such as hiring & retaining the staff, change in the

marketing trends & dynamics, operational issues, rising price of daily consumables,
housekeeping issues, Irregular cash inflows, change in guest expectations and also data security
challenges (Moss, 2017).
The Skills
1. Communication Skills/ Emotional Intelligence
I've learned a few things about emotional intelligence and communications skills. With the
assistance of this class, I was able to learn about certain specific aspects of communication and
cooperation. These two characteristics are critical for the company since it is required of all
personnel to follow correct communication lines and keep strong coordination in order to
complete the assignment. To strengthen this talent, I intend to work on my good communication
and engage in several university-sponsored events so that I can easily maintain excellent
communication and boost proper collaboration in my team. This is thought to be the most
relevant skill for building the most successful team. In order to deal with the problem as a whole,
I need to improve these talents so that I can effectively manage all of the obstacles that have
arisen as during project assignment (Ngwenyama, Henriksen and Hardt, 2021).
2. Teamwork
The capacity to cooperate well with each other on a common job; enacting policies that respect
others' concerns and accomplishments; responding to and adopting agreement; proposing a win-
win approach to accomplish the team's purpose. Collaboration & teamwork are the foundations
of any profitable business. Team working and collaboration in the working have several
advantages. This is considered as the most appropriate skill which can useful to create the most
effective team. In order to tackle the whole situation, it is a requirement to develop this skills so
that I can appropriately overall all the challenges which are have taken during the project task.
3. Time Management and meeting skills

Various time management approaches are addressed in this class. I learnt the time value and
how to organize my time so that I can focus totally on a single task at a specified moment
throughout the sessions. According to my opinion, it is important to meet each and every activity
inside a defined time frame in order to efficiently complete each assignment by a given deadline.
Throughout the seminar, I discussed a variety of approaches that may be used to enhance
effectiveness and time management adaptability. There are a variety of approaches that can help
me maintain my time management, like starting activities early, setting boundaries, taking
breaks, prioritizing chores, organizing my workspace, and learning modern technology. With the
help of time management and also effective meeting skills, I have got to know about the various
time management and meeting techniques so that I can appropriately overcome the challenges
like presentation challenges, T- shirt challenges and many more (Reeves and Fuller, 2018).
4. Business skills and competencies developed e.g. presentation skills, use of Excel
It is necessary to learn the business skills and also specific competencies skills. There are
various competencies like presentation excel and many more so that I can effectively manage
each and every terms and conditions related with the challenges which I have faced. Through
business skills, I can take the hotel and presentation and another challenges.
Action Plan
In order to maintain the overall the these challenges including debate , hotel, presentation,
T- shirt challenges , it is compulsory for me to follow an action plan which can helpful to
maintain my performance level in the class and I will also take and appropriate opportunity to get
an specific job. As per to tackle down the challenges, I have to follow the SMART Goals
including “Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time Frame” so that I can
appropriate prepare an action plan and set the SMART goals in order to develop and appropriate
skills which will helpful to solve these challenges (Wang, 2019). The explanation about the

Conclusion
According to this report, it can be concluded that it is necessary to take the graduate
challenge so that individuals and students can learn an appropriate challenges which are
discussed in this report. In this report, various skills are also identified like communications,
emotional intelligence, meeting skills, time management skills and many others. Lastly, an
appropriate action plan is also determined so that students can appropriately learn skills and
complete goals.
