Introduction
Marketing refers to the actions that are being performed by company individuals in order to
promote the buying and selling of goods and services within the market space. This is the
most significant field in today’s scenario due to which I am highly interested in order to
promote my career in this specific field (Miklosik and et.al., 2019). During my course at my
college, my tutor always encouraged me to build my career into marketing field.
The aim of the report is to research over the marketing related profession by utilizing
both primary as well as secondary investigation. Moreover, it will also discuss about the
future trends in further recruitment.

General trends influencing the chosen industry or profession
From various studies, it has been identified that the individual needs to become
creative and having analytical minds in nature as they have to always updated with
continuous changes in marketing field. Marketing profession is based upon the fact that
nowadays business requires constant changes in order to become successful in every manner.
The customers are the critical issues in creating their products and services highly famous as
they are the only ones who are responsible for the success and failure of any product or
offered service. Marketing is a profession that requires formal language and especially in
current scenario, it has changed the whole world. It is not like earlier that by providing
advertisement on television and newspaper the sales will enhanced along with the awareness
of the product (Laczniak and Murphy, 2019). It requires and come a long way to the situation.
Hence, according to latest scene, there is a huge decline in television and newspaper
marketing when compared to modern marketing. Thus, marketing as a function has
undergone into major transformations. With the streamlining of the internet and social media,
the world becoming are more connected with each other as it is no longer restricted to
traditional methods. In addition to that, the profession highly requires certain skill set such as
creative thinking, writing abilities, analytical skills, problem solving, stress management
skill, etc.
In the professional world, it has been identified that globalization provides a
significant impact over businesses and over the ways in which products are being marketed.
The major influencers of marketing are the company competitors, technological changes,
efficiency, remote hiring and tourism. However globalization provides positive and negative
both kind of impacts over marketing. Furthermore, technology has transformed the marketing
by generating campaigns in more personalized and immersive for general public and
generating ecosystem that are more integrated and targeted for marketers. It highly affects
day to day operational decisions which are significant for the overall success of the marketing
strategies. Even when it has been interviewed by some of the marketing professionals, it has
been evaluated that there are certain skills and abilities that are extremely required within an
individual in order to build career in the field of marketing. The person is highly prompt in
technological advances as it requires proper interaction with customers and engages with
them more than ever before (López García and et.al., 2019). The person should be proficient
enough to converse with them through social media channels and give their consumers more

Marketing professionals are the ones who bridge the gap among the companies as
well as their consumers. As per the data that is being collected through secondary
investigation, it has been evaluated that nowadays marketing professionals require skills
which automatically questioning the traditional media plans as now the shift of the things
towards digitization are now irreversible. Marketers of the future require certain skill set in
order to perform their tasks in most effective manner. The skills play a major role and act as
individual competencies and abilities that help any marketing professional to become succeed
within this specific industry (Bala and Verma, 2018). Top most required skills that are highly
in demand such as technical abilities, leadership skills, communication, and organizational as
well as creative abilities are extremely considered while creating and generating career in
marketing field. Hence, at the time of going for an interview, the interviewer identifies
certain abilities within a candidate which are related to above mentioned skills. Basically at
the time of recruit any marketing professional, the recruiter search for an individual who are
appropriately able to prompt the offered products and services in the form of idea in order to
encompasses many diversified marketing skills as well as personal qualities.
At the stage when an individual just cleared their college days are expected to have basic
knowledge about the concepts of marketing along with the abilities that enables an individual
to learn and deal things within the establishment. Generally, the skills require that starts with
analyzing the customers along with defining their perception of the offered goods and
services. It also requires identification of aspects about the things that are going to market and
that will be in most appealing way to the audience is important. As per the study, it has been
evaluated that the person is highly able to refined skills in context of writing, verbal and
public speaking. These abilities will help them to convey their part in front of their buyers in
most clear and creative manner and also help them to capture the attention of varied
audiences (Hastings and et.al., 2020). According to the outcome that is being gathered from
the primary research, it has been recognized that there are specific skills that are irreplaceable
and extremely required while building career into the marketing profession those are
leadership, technical, communication, innovative thinking and creative abilities within an
individual. Furthermore, it has also been experienced that in order to build career into the
field of marketing, it requires digital advertising skills as well as team work abilities. The
person is highly capable to have all the skills as they are the ones who give business the best

interview, it has been assessed that investing into marketing skills goes beyond just buying

From the advertisement which is based upon the job role of retail sales associate for a
mobile store highly attracts me as it is my first job after completion of my graduation. From
very initial times of my college, I always wanted to work within a well reputable organization
and today I got to know this opportunity and I feel very much excited for this job position as
Mobile Store Operators is the third largest wireless provider company. This job is of my
choice of filed which is marketing. The company offers great culture within their premises.
For the firm, success is integrity and celebrated which is the core of the people who are at the
organization (Kemper and Ballantine, 2019). The job role is requires wireless experts that are
highly competent enough to sell all T-Mobile offered goods and services along with effectual
customer services as well in which I feel that I am extremely efficient enough to convince
anybody regarding purchasing the items in minimal efforts.
As per the required qualifications, I am most suitable person as per the requirement of
the organization within the service provider. Moreover, this advertisement attracts me the
most as it consists of all the benefits as well that are being offer by the firm. Basically, people
are highly concerned about the benefits that are going too provided to them while working
within an establishment. And this resolves my doubt as well in most effectual ways (Tafesse
and Wien, 2018). Moreover, I find it most latest and emerging role for me as it starts my
career in extremely attractive ways. Furthermore, the company also offers best class training
necessary for them to educate their customers over T-Mobiles various products and services.
This will definitely help me to enhance my future career terms.

From the above report, it has been concluded that marketing is the most emerging
field that are highly popular in recent era. According to the report, it has been identified that
digital marketing has consumed a major part of modern consumerism. The latest trend that is

among the key trends to be aware of. And as I am highly interested into this specific field, I
want to build my career into marketing field.
