Introduction
In this current report, I have selected the profession of HR because HR is responsible
for managing the employees of an organization such as job design, recruitment, employee
relation performance management, training and development of employees. I have a great
interest in this profession because I believe that I can manage the people in a business
concern in an appropriate manner. Therefore, I will cover the general trends which have a
great impact on the profession of HR on the basis of primary and secondary research. Apart
from this, I well explain the key skill, knowledge and experience required in the HR
profession and make evaluation for identifying appropriate vacancy.
General trends influencing the chosen industry or
profession
The trends mainly affect all the businesses and people across the globe because they are
helpful to provide growth opportunities (Griggs and Allen, 2018). Similarly, there are many
trends in the current world that affects the HR activities within an organization which are as
follows:
ï‚· Innovation of 4G spectrum and internet: Into the highly developed World the use of
spectrum or internet has become very common and every person has access to it. The
human resource professionals are highly affected by the upcoming trends of the
internet which has made it easier to reach the maximum number of people without
investing high costs. Human resource activities such as training and development,
employee engagement, recruitment and staffing, etc. have become simpler with the
help of spectrum or internet technology.
This trend has also affected the recruitment process of the graduates because they are
expected to have greater insights of the use of internet technology and online media
for better working of the organization. The company tries to select those candidates
who are well aware of the online platforms and internet for various activities of the
organization (Mayo, 2020).
ï‚· Globalization: The fast paced changes across the global market due to the
liberalization policies of the government across the international market have also
affected the HR profession. The HR professionals and executives are also influenced

by this Trend and they prefer to recruit candidates from the foreign locations who
have the knowledge of the markets across the borders.
Globalization has also impacted the requirement of abilities and knowledge among
the graduates because the companies prefer those candidates who have the knowledge
of existing markets as well as the markets abroad (Snoek, Dengerink and de Wit,
2019). Companies recruit those people who are well aware of the external
environment of the foreign market who can handle the operations internationally.
ï‚· Use of Artificial intelligence, Artificial really and machine learning: There is a great
Trend for using artificial intelligence and artificial reality within the profession of
human resource of an organization. Human resource professions include the use of
artificial intelligence to track the performance and activities of the human resource
across the organization so that the controlling and managing activities of people can
become easier. The use of machine learning which includes chat boats has also helped
the organizations to collect systematic information and big data for enhancing the
activities of the organization.
The trend of AI and AR has also affected the recent graduates who want to build their
career in the human resource field. The companies seek for those candidates who can
professionally deal with such technology so that the human resource activities within
the organization can be carried smoothly.
ï‚· Workplace diversity and culture: The other trend in the human resource profession is
the increasing workplace diversity and culture because people from various
backgrounds, culture, communities, etc. coexist at the workplace. The human resource
professionals are required to perform such activities that could enhance the
performance of all the people and handle them equally.
Workplace diversity and culture has also impacted the need for graduates to
understand and work with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures etc. The
companies search for those candidates who feel comfortable with all the people and
can enhance the work performance of diversified people within the organization.

In order to collect the information and data about the various trends in the human
resource profession an interview was conducted. By the data collected from the interview the
human resource managers and professionals have provided valuable insight. With the help of
primary research it was understood that the use of the internet and spectrum, globalization
and artificial reality are the major trends within the human resource profession of an
organization. It has been elaborated that the use of the internet has become very common and
it helps in screening the candidates and recruiting the most suitable prospects for the
organization. On the other hand, the trend of using artificial intelligence and artificial reality
also helps to enhance the performance of employees and management of people within an
organization to enhance their performance. Along with this, the globalization Trend has also
affected HR professional activities due to the requirement of knowledge about the
international market two has the performance of organizations. Therefore, it is important for a
company to consider and follow various trends in the market which helps to maintain its
brand reputation and performance of the organization.
The required skills, experience and knowledge
Skills, knowledge and experience are very important to carry any profession in an
organization. These skills help the HR manager to be more competent and play its best role
in managing all the activities of a business concern(Adeyinka-Ojo 2018). So there are some
skills which are which are required to be an HR are depicted as under:
Communication skills: These skills are very crucial to become an HR because on
must be able to express clearly in the profession of HR whether its oral or written
communication. He must be able to resolve the conflict that may occur among the
subordinates. HR profession require lot of speaking because he has to conduct a series of
interviews of the expected employees in an organization and arrange for the training and
development programs when he is got selection and hired(Shao and Ariss, 2020). During this
program he has to interact with employees which help them in building the trust and
confidence level.
Organizational skills: These skills are needed to manage various function HR
management such as planing, organizing, directing, controlling, best utilizing the workforce
and many more other functions. Apart from this HR has to perform a lot of paperwork related

to the profile of the employee and legal documents(Dahlbom and et. al., 2020). All the
function of the human resource help management to manage all the process of organization.
Decision making skills: HR must have ability to analyze the problem to make an
effective decision making. He must be capable to analyze the skills of the expected employee
during the process of interview so that the right talent cab selected for the required vacancy.
He is needed to have sufficient skills to make an effective decision and select the talented
workforce for an organization(Stone, Cox and Gavin, 2020).
Training and development skills: HR managers are responsible to provide the
employee training opportunities so that their skills can be improved and knowledge can be
enhanced ion order to maximize the productivity and increase the value of a business
concern. The development programs assist in providing the diverse skills to the employees
and make them enable to support their career growth.
Knowledge and experience required to be an HR are as under:
HR manager must have experience and knowledge of their profession and must be
aware the responsibilities that are needed to be performed. He must have knowledge of the
principle and the procedures for the recruitment, selection and training for the personal. He
must have knowledge of employees compensation and benefits, labor relation and
negotiation(Horak and et. al., 2019). The HR manager are liable to make strategic planning,
allocation of the resources, provide training and development to the employees. He must be
able to perform leadership and coordination among the people of an organization. HR must
have knowledge of giving proper instruction to the subordinates and analyze the requirement
of training program. He must be expertise in providing customer and personal services.
Evaluation
From the above information, it has been evaluated that the HR have to perform
various functions and perform various duties. Therefore I have great interest in carrying the
profession of HR manager and I believe that I have all the required skill that are needed to
perform the profession of HR. Every organization needs an HR manager to manage the
workforce of and organization and time management to schedule for making development
plans. I as an HR manager are responsible to carry out all the responsibilities from recruiting
personal to their firing. I have confidence and great understanding of HR role and good
analytical skills to hire the right talent for an entity. I make enable an organization to hire

good skillful employees that may help a business in making profits. Therefore, I can make a
effective career in HR profession which help me enhancing my skills as well.
Conclusion
From the above discussion, it has been conclude that HR manger plays an important
role in an organization which help in hiring the employees and analyze their skills tom
perform the activities of the businesses. He also provides training to the employee to make
them productive and increase their confidence level so that they can be retained in an
organization. Thus, the report has covered the general trends and skill, knowledge required
for the HR profesion.
