Career refers to metaphorical ‘journey’ of an individual through learning, work as well as
other aspects of life. In other words, it is what a person do for living along with the ways they
advance through specific profession or organisation (Wang, Jones and Wang, 2019). The aim of
the report is to demonstrate awareness of skills, experience and knowldge required by recent
graduate for entering in Marketing profession in Clothing industry for employment. Clothing
industry of UK is one of prominent industries as well as plays crucial role in economy of the
nation. The profession of marketing involves identification of techniques and strategies
employed for attracting customers to an enterprise. It is a multidisciplinary field which combines
communication, advertising and sales in order to generate interest in products and services of an
establishment. To make career in the industry, an analysis is conducted by me to collect insights
about trends in the industry and required skill sets.
The report highlights analysis and application of general trends that will impact on the
profession and industry. It also covers skills and experience required by a professional body to
work in the industry. At last, an evaluation is undertaken for identification of appropriate
vacancy from the profession or industry.
