INTRODUCTION
Leadership is basically the ability of the group of individuals or the individuals for the
purpose to guide the members and followers of the company. In reference to management, it is
basically the process of designing and maintaining an environment in which individuals working
together in group efficiently accomplish selected aims. The present report focuses on the
development and demonstration of the effective leadership skills. In addition to that, it basically
comprises of the present management and leadership capabilities with the use of a range of
theoretical and academic models. In addition to that, it involves a range of leadership and
management developmental activities as an individual and as a member of a team.
MAIN BODY
As a leader, I identified my weakness and strengths and also used the data and
information for the purpose to maximise use of their skills as a team to perform. When it comes
to my learning journey, the management and leadership skills played a very important role in
effective management (Wells, 2021). In addition to that, leadership in my opinion is basically
considered to be a very complex process which is basically in relation to the human qualities and
also the result of their activities. For me being a great leader basically comprises not only
following the own visions but also focusing on working towards the goals and objectives of the
company. During my learning journey, I got to learn about a range of various management and
leadership developmental activities which comprises of the following:
Immersive Team Building experiences: In context to my leadership activities, team building
exercises helped me a lot in my learning journey and played as an incredible tool and helped me
a lot in my sessions. With the support of immersive team building experiences it allowed me to
choose my activities and also allowing to invest the time to learn how to work in a team (Holt,
Hall and Gilley, 2018).

Implementing important changes: In reference to my learning journey, I got to learn that change
is very necessary and it is very important to implement change in a effective manner (Bush, Bell
and Middlewood, 2019).
In my opinion, leadership is basically a trait which is considered to be very important and
basically when it comes to leadership it is the way individuals attempt to make a difference in the
situation. However, in my opinion it is better said to be usually a way of impacting actions of
others. The process of leadership and management is basically connected with the great leader
and throughout my learning journey I have expanded my knowledge in numerous ways. I
basically now have full understanding of the process and purpose of the leadership in a society.
In reference to the leader, one must maintain an image of being the role model.
Gibbs model of reflection: In reference to Gibbs model of reflection, it is the most famous
cyclical model of reflection which basically leads through six stages exploring an experience.
Description: During my learning journey, I got to learn so much about my current leadership and
management capabilities with the use of the various theoretical and academic models which
really helped me a lot in identifying my weakness and strengths.
Feelings: During my learning journey, I felt so excited but at the same time felt nervous and but
was really looking for sessions and lessons. Overall my experience was very delighted.
Sometimes I felt nervous and was really scared about the thought that I will able to learn new
things or not (Rotenstein, Huckman and Cassel, 2020).
Evaluation: In reference to my overall learning journey, my classes and sessions went really well
and my teachers and other members were highly supported and one thing which I did not like
was that I was not able to manage my session timings and I did not get enough time to do my
activities (Kane, Phillips, Copulsky and Andrus, 2019).

Analysis: During my learning journey, it was basically a total new experience for me and I was
very excited to start my learning process and understanding various types and range of
management and leadership capabilities which really helped me a lot in identifying my weakness
and strengths of the leadership(Maringe and Sing, 2019).
Conclusion: During my learning journey, I really felt that I should apply my leadership and
management activities and models in my learning which will help me in achieving my personal
objectives and which could contribute in my future outcomes and job roles (Succi, C. and
Canovi, M., 2020).
Action Plan: Though, now I am really effective in using my leadership and management
activities and models, but sometimes few things do not go well as per my plan which is
considered to be major drawback for me and it is very important for me to recognise these things
in advance and work upon myself (Longenecker and Mallin, 2019).
CONCLUSION
From the above report, it had been concluded that leadership and management plays a
very important role in the organisation and also for the development of an individual in the
organisation. In addition to that, with the right type of leadership and management, it really helps
in developing competencies and also improves the skills of an individual in order to overcome
their weakness and also contributing towards the future career development and programmes.
From the above report, it helps a lot in deeper understanding of the goals and objectives and how
to implement and use my leadership and management skills in a effective manner which will
really help a student in improving its future presence and working upon a healthy and effective
way of learning new things and overcoming my weakness with the support and help of my
current skills and capabilities.
