Dear Ms. Eastbrook:
Thank you for considering us for a sponsorship partnership in the Calgary Girl Guides 8th
Annual Golf Tournament fundraiser. Further, we commend the Girl Guides of Canada
organization for the critical role it plays in girls’ lives. Regrettably, our organization will not be
able to sponsor your fundraiser tournament this year.
Guild guides’ movement is critical as it supports the “whole person” development of the young
girls per Piaget's theory of cognitive development (McLeod, 2018). Moreover, it is involved in
advocacy for the rights of girls and the marginalized people across the globe (“Prepared to Learn,
Prepared to Lead, "2019). However, due to the poor economic conditions in the country, our
company has reduced its corporate social responsibility funding threshold. Therefore, we will not
be able to provide the clothing and/or accessories for the Calgary Girl Guides 8th Annual Golf
Tournament.
We would have loved to be part of the team, but at present we are it will not be possible.
However, if you apply for the sponsorship next year, you will be on our priority list. We are
looking forward to working with you in your future endeavors.
Yours Sincerely,
Harold Petrich.
