3THINKING SKILL
Introduction:
Human resources are the key asset in an organisation, based on which the degree of
productivity and profitability is determined (Hamburg and Collins, 2010). The aim of this
paper is to evaluate the article namely Effective Training in the Workplace: The
Importance of Learning Style Inventories by Dr Amy Wyland. The structure of the
argument of Dr Amy Wyland will also be presented in this paper.
Review of the article:
In the context of an organisation, the human resources play a pivotal role in order to
improving the organisational productivity and thereby strengthen the public image of the
company in the hard-core competitive business environment. In the article, Dr Amy Wyland
has showed how the organisations can implement effective training program for the sake of
improving the degree of productivity of the staffs. In addition to that, Dr Amy Wyland has
also showed the importance of integrating learning style intervention in the employee training
program (Buch and Bartley 2002). It is important to note in this context that assessing the
learning style of the staffs is the matter of greatest significance in terms of analysing the
different preferences of the people. In the article, Dr Amy Wyland offered advice to the
college students in order to practice the standardise process.
Here the author has showed the fact that the main aim of the students should be
adopting effective learning style of the researcher rather than go through a case properly and
get good score in the academics. There is one controversial question in the article which is
Will this be on the exam?” This question raises many issues and generate negative vive
among the teachers who put consistent effort in order to appreciate the performance of the
staffs. However, in the article, the author has also showed how the style of teachers play a
critical role in order to improve the learning outcomes of the students. In the context of the

standardised approach, Dr Amy Wyland has highlighted the fact that the learning style acts as
one of the main tools in terms of intensifying the effectiveness of the training program of the
work place, which is very much obligatory in terms of refining the skills and competency
level of the staffs. On the other hand, several non-argumentative statements have also been
used by Dr Amy Wyland in order to elaborate his discussion. For instance, the statement
“Will this be on the exam?” can have a firm impact on infuriating the teachers a creating a
positive vive among them. According to this journal article, the implementation of
appropriate learning style is one of the most important factors of conducting effective training
program and thereby improve the staff’s outcome.
As per the perception of McManus et al. (2004) in the contemporary times, the
trainees are putting stress on the learning style as it is one of the major features of cultivating
learning outcome. Based on the article it can be said that the learning style plays a major role
in terms of predicting necessary work related outcomes such as health, job performance and
job satisfaction. Ion the contemporary times, the learning style interventions are acting as one
of the major parts of the organisational training program as it is the best way of keeping the
staffs motivated towards the training program. This is the way of improving the learning
outcome of the students (Boser 2017).

From the above diagram, it is evident that any kind of direct question is one of the
major aspects in terms of infuriating the teachers and thereby create either positive or
negative vive among them. Both the attitude and learning style acts as greatest determinant of
the kerning outcome of the students. From the article, Effective Training in the Workplace:
The Importance of Learning Style Inventories by Dr Amy Wyland, it is evident that in order
to satisfy the objective of the training program, it is the main duty of the human resource
department of the firm to determine the appropriate training method, which will help in
bringing the appropriate outcome of the training program.

plays a major role in terms of improving the organisational productivity by accelerating the
skills and proficiency of the staffs which is very much need in order to improve the internal
functionality. Appropriate training program is the fundamental factor of accomplishing
