In the company Facebook effective communication is highly needed as it is the process of
exchanging good ideas which helps in making the organization much better. A good working
relationship can be maintained through effective communication. It helps in maintaining a good
relationship that fosters the work in a better way (Pereira Correia, et al., 2014). In the company
Facebook, there were many issues that have been seen related to communication so effective
communication also helps in improving the efficiency of the company and increasing the morale
of the employee. There are several characteristics of effective communication which is stated
below:
Correctness: There are several things that have to convey to the employees or the other
elder authorities so the correct grammar and syntax vouch is required. There are many meetings
and seminars happen in the company Facebook so the major issue was the correct vocab with the
correct grammar is required.
Conciseness: The communication helps in the company Facebook should be in a concise
manner as it should be with the effective words and with the short sentences. The long sentences
create difficulty for the receiver to understand the message (Schivinski and Dabrowski, 2015).
Time and cost are saved with concise communication as it includes an effective message for the
audience.
Focus: The communication in the company Facebook is considered as effective when it
is paying attention to the requirements of the company. Instead of talking to other things the
communicator should talk about the requirements, changes, or any other important information
regarding the company Facebook as it helps in delegating it in a more effective way.
Consideration: While communicating the company Facebook should evaluate that

economic model and the cost benefits are needed for making the communication more effective.
The competencies of the project can be measured through the simple method of ratio. The
potential value can be delivered through this method so it helps in communicating in a more
appropriate way (Bowen, et al., 2015). The price return and investing cost are measured through
this method which helps in completing the project on time. The profits can be generated in the
company Facebook by considering the economic model as it creates economic value. The
invested value can also be measured through this method.
Characteristics: There are some components that are not there in the post stated above
such as technical expertise, team-building skills, negotiations, etc.
Team building skills: For managing the project of the company Facebook, effective
negotiation skills are required in the appropriate manner. There are many conflicts that can be
resolved through effective team skills as teamwork always leads to achieving the goals (Cho, et
al., 2017). The teamwork helps in resolving the issues in a more appropriate manner and they
also take initiatives in making good decisions.
Appropriate negotiation skills: For maintaining harmony in the company Facebook and
for settling certain issues appropriate negotiation skills are required.
Example: In the company, Facebook's symbolic communication is effective as it creates
the value of the project by making effective processes and procedures. Effective communication
in the company Facebook helps in taking important decisions by sharing opinions with each
other.
