Part B Critique reflection
Yes, the original post is holistic considering the fact that few aspects are
interconnected as I personally think that the resolving of inventory management related issues
has been linked with the management of supplies that are required to meet the demands and
expectations in the marketplace. The plausible consequences have been identified properly
and it has provided me knowledge about how the Systems Thinking tools including the Big
Picture and CATWOE are related to the benefits acquired by the various stakeholders
including customers, employees as well as the leaders of the organisations. The Systems
thinking tools have been used properly, which has not only helped me to understand how the
inventory management issues can be resolved as well as it will be possible to cut down the
costs whereas the incentive systems have benefited the people at large and lifted their morale
to perform to their potential.
With the help of using the Systems Thinking tools, I have managed to acquire
knowledge about how it has been possible to engage the organisational members together,
furthermore aim at creating a good corporate culture and at the same time, undertake
approaches to keep the environment safe and healthy. I have also understood that for
Woolworths, a huge numbers of customers was lost due to the lack of services and quality of
those, which could be overcome with the extensive customers’ services. Here, the systems
thinking tools are necessary for planning according to the make conditions and then empower
the employees with the help of rewards and incentives that shall improve their ability to
concentrate, furthermore remain motivated and perform with commitment and dedication.
