This report is a systematic review that investigates the effectiveness of mHealth solutions in improving health outcomes for diabetic patients. The study analyzed databases from 2010 to 2018, identifying five eligible studies. The findings indicate that mHealth interventions, particularly those combining text messaging and internet functionalities, positively impact glycemic control compared to non-mHealth approaches, especially in type 2 diabetes. The review highlights the use of various mobile technologies and their potential in remote monitoring and clinical guidance, with interventions reporting improved health outcomes when daily and interactive sessions were implemented. The PICO question focused on the effectiveness of mHealth solutions for diabetic patients. The study's objectives were to appraise evidence from systematic reviews and consolidate evidence on the effectiveness of mHealth interventions. The review emphasizes the need for future studies to incorporate theoretical backgrounds and address factors associated with behavioral changes.
