INTRODUCTION
The success of every business organization is largely depends upon its adaptability to the
environment. Business environment includes the external environment which includes various
factors which can be defined as the outside opportunity and threat for the firm. External
environment involves various factors such as supplier, customer, marketing intermediates public,
technological. Social and legal factors which affect the growth of the modern business in the
global environment(Miller and Holstein, 2017). This assignment identifies the various micro and
macro environmental factor which affect the nature of the modern business in the global
environment. It also defines that why individual and organization need to manage responsibly,
sustain-ably and behave ethically in relation to social cultural economic and environmental
issues.
Main body
Micro environmental factor
It includes various element which are controlled by the management. It refers to the
environment which is directly related business organization and can affect the routine activities
of the business firm. It is a collection of all forces that are close to the business organization and
also affect the day to day operations of the company. It includes the supplier, competitor,
customer and marketing intermediaries(Ahokanga and et.al., 2016).
Competitors
It includes those organizations who sell same product and services as your organization
produce, are your market competitors. The most important competition which affect the nature of
the business firm at very large extent in the global environment such as companies product
which is also sold by other company at competitive price in the market place. The success of the
every business organization is largely depends upon its ability to satisfy the need and wants of
the consumers.
Market intermediaries
It refers to those business firms which helps in promoting, selling and distributing the
goods to the ultimate consumers. The manufacturer produces the product in the most cost
effective methods of intermediaries to reach the product to consumers which helps in increasing
the profitability of the firm.

It is the duty of the company to satisfy the people at large along with customers and
consumers. It has great impact on the well-being of the company in terms of future growth and
development. Business firm can gain favorable response by creating better goodwill among the
public. In the modern business, public assumed as a significant role and their presence in the
micro environment of the businesses(Shibia and Barako, 2017.).
Supplier
Suppliers refers to the business houses which provides the resources that are needed by
the company. Supplier can control the success of the business when they hold the power, it can
be possible when they are only the largest supplier of their goods. In the modern business
environment the development in the supplier's environment has a substantial impact on the
operation of the company in the global business environment.
Macro environment
Macro environment includes various factors which affect the working, performance,
decision making and strategy of all business organizations. The nature of the macro environment
is highly dynamic. It includes the various factors such technological, economical, social and
political factors(Khilji, Tarique and Schuler, 2015).
Political factors
The political factor affect the modern business in the global environment due to unstable
government and their rules, regulations and policies. Political system control the business
activities of the country. Efficient, stable, honest and stable political system is a primary factor
for the growth of the modern business in the global environment.
Technological factor
The nature of the modern business in the global environment can be effectively affected
by the technological advancement because changes in the technological factor affect the
production method and processes. A firm which not able to cope up with the technological
advancement may not survive in the global environment.

wealth, ethical issues and corporate social responsibility of the firm(Mayne, 2016).
Economical factor
It has great impact on the products of the organization as well as the decision making
process of the customers. It includes the interest rates and Tax rates which affect the nature of the
business environment in the global environment because the interest rate continuously change
which affect the profitability of the firm.

Business firms is the basic economic units of the society and its responsibility to provides
goods and services that is required by the society and also maximize the profit for the owners.
Company can increase their productivity by satisfying their consumers. Corporate social
responsibility plays an important role in building a good brand image which can be possible by
getting positive response from consumers, so business firms have to manage responsibly and
behave ethically with their consumers in terms of contributing in the welfare and the interest of
society. Organizational culture also plays an important role in the accomplishing organizational
goal effectively, which can be possible through creating healthy working environment in the
organization, so business need to manage the cultural issues and behave ethically with the
employees for encouraging them towards giving the best efforts in the achievement of
organizational goals(Davies, 2016).
Individual need to manage sustain-ably and responsibly the social issue for maintaining
better relationship with the other member of the societies and also behave ethically with the
others for managing good and harmonious relation with them. Individual also need to manage
the cultural issues because it is important factor which maintain the better working environment
in the organization which increase the overall productivity of the firm(Michael and Popov,
2016).

The above study has been summarized that each and every modern business
organization's success and growth in the global market is largely depends on the Macro and
