3PROJECT PROPOSAL
Introduction
The organisation which is taken into consideration is the Microsoft. The organisation
is chosen due to the factor of being the largest and the biggest operating system maker which
was founded in the year 1970s. after the initial launch of the company Microsoft and its
founder Bill gates enjoyed the honour which can be termed as greatest and treasure in the
history which is related to the company (Microsoft) (Kumar et al., 2016).

also be stated that if ignoring the unethical actions Microsoft’s work in the field of
information technology is worth praising.
Data collection method
The method which is used in order to implement the research is qualitative data. The
main reason of the selection of the method is the data which is obtained from the process is
extremely varied in nature. The common category which can be included in the process are:
In depth interview: The main data for the research can be gathered by any way which
may include audio recording, video recording, stenography or written notes. The main
difference which is between a direct observation and in depth interview mainly lie in the
nature if the interaction which is conducted.
Direct observation: in this process the observer does not actively query the respondent. It

being conducted.
Written documents: this mainly refers to any document regards the organisation in a
written format. It may include books, magazine, websites, annual report and so on (Quek
et al., 2016).
Survey: This refers to the technique in which a survey is conducted between the
employee of the organisation in order to gain the insight of the organisation. this mainly
includes different questions which are forwarded to the employee and they are asked to
answer the questions.
Selection of the Process
The survey technique can be considered to be very much effective as these can
directly be related to the organisation. the data which is obtained from the above stated
process can help in building a knowledge of the organisation which would be beneficial for
the research.
Main Research Strategy
The main aim of the research is to get a complete insight of the organisation by means
of gathering required information by varied means. The organisation which is chosen for the
research has many unethical issues which are related to the in this framework of the working.
Taking the issue into consideration and how the organisation solved the problem in a timely
manner to regain the structure of the organisation is the main point of emphasis (Campbell et
al., 2016).
Data security
In the past the data which is gathered for any research activity was mainly hand
written which was stored in cabinet. Today the data is transmitted collected and stored in

mainly electronic devices which are password protected (Stearns et al., 2017). This is mainly
done in a way to protect the data from unauthorized access of person and prevent loss of data
by any means.
Secondary data used in the research
The main secondary data which is used for the research is the administrative data.
This data can be mainly termed to the collection of the data which is collected routinely on a
day to day basis operation of the organisation which is taken into consideration. The main
point of comparison which can be stated in comparison to primary data is that, secondary data
are sometimes readily available and very much inexpensive to obtain and the information
which is obtained is up to a certain extend correct (Ku et al., 2016).
Research outcome
The main research outcome is to gain all over information about the organisation into
which is research is being conducted in this case Microsoft. Taking into account the main
strategies which were implemented by the organisation in order to reframe the business
structure after the incident of the unethical issues. The outcome which was faced by the
