Leadership in Business (Satya Nadella)
Microsoft is one of the most successful organizations in the world. Typically, the success
of an organization will depend on its operations, management, and most importantly leadership.
Nadella as the Microsoft CEO is one of the best leaders that have achieved this position mainly
through choices he made in general. Effective leadership entails understanding ones’ role and
performing these roles in a way that would be effective to ensure an organization will be able to
meet particular need and objectives. I firmly believe that Nadella is an active leader in this case
as a result of his characteristics (Eragula, 2015). For Nadella, he is a reader where he gains
knowledge and adequate understanding particularly form his own experiences or even from the
thought of other thus allowing his to follow a productive part of success. Other than that, he also
looks beyond the horizons as he considers particulate visions and beliefs in consideration to the
organization he is leading a make the right move at the right time while focusing on time
management and most importantly nurturing a strong culture of the organization.
Good leaders will significantly result in higher productivity and also the success of the
organization. In this regard, Microsoft has become one of the most successful organizations
around the world. Other than that, the organization has also been able to offer their services and
products to people around the globe (Nahavandi& Krishnan, 2017). In this regard, what I have
learned in this case is mainly to focus on the need and most importantly understanding the roles
and objectives of being an effective leader. Other than that I also leant the roles of understanding
ways that as a leader one should consider ensuring effectiveness regarding the success of the
organization that one is leading.
