What is Microsoft solution framework?
The Microsoft solution framework (MSF) can be considered as a series which is
interrelated of models, concept and the best practices which lay the foundation which is related
to the building, planning and managing technological project (Zhang, Antunes and Aggarwal
2014). The concept which is related to the aspect of the MSF may be divided into three parts
which are stated below:
 Process model
 Team model
 Discipline risk management
The MSF team model which is related to the application development directly advocates
a small team which is related to the peer workers who have interdependent multidisciplinary
roles. The MSF can be considered as an approach which is flexible relating to the different
process of project management. The approach directly takes into consideration the aspect of
minimizing risk, project control and improve the quality of the product. The speed of production
in the sector can also be stated to be increased with optimal utilization of the different resources
in the sector. The framework is directly based on five milestones which can be directly be
reviewed and synchronized which allow the project team to adjust the project scope. The main
area of focus relating to the project scope would be in the sector of the gathering of the
requirement of the customer in the different sector.

Reason of implementation in project (Foldable phone)
The approach which is related to the Microsoft solution framework can be stated as a
valuable as well as overlooked tool which is relating to the working with the products which are
system centered. The main reason for the deployment in the sector of the foldable phone is that it
can be used as a road map which is for the operation manager or the project configuration
manager. The MSF would be breaking down the project into different sector which would be
helping to deliver a standard of project which is related to the domain of the implementation. The
process which would be included into the sector is the Spiral model which mainly defines five
stages relating to each of the iteration. Each of the stage in the sector are stated below:

 Envisioning: This defines a clear idea and vision which is related to the risks and the
feasibility. The defines the security of the mobile phone which would be involved into
the concept.
 Planning: The concept which is related to the functional specification and requirement of
the customer. There can be different forms of suggestion which can be seen in the sector
of the requirement gathering when taking into focus in phone development.
 Development: Building solution and the infrastructure which the different components
relating to the phone can be considered quite easily.
 Deployment: The deployment of the software can be stated to be one of the important
factor which is important in the sector of the deployment.

The foldable phone development sector can be initiated with the implementation of the
different sector of the working. In this project it can be stated there are different sector of

operation which would be included into the sector (Tyagi, Agarwal and Maheshwari 2016). The
main advantage with the sector of the implementation is that risk management is done very much
properly in the sector. Using the approach which is related to the identified risk is that the team
would be directly dealing with the different factor of risk continuously until the risk factor would
be getting dissolved. A key aspect which is related to the risk based scheduling is that wherein
the risk factor is activated the overall risk plan would be aiming at resolving the factor without
the involvement in the internal factor (Singh 2016). The foldable phone development can be
initiating different risk factor so the development would not be facing any problem in the sector
of the operation.
Project classification
There are different sections according to which the project can be classified which are explained
below:
 Requirement gathering: In this phase the requirement is taken into consideration in
which the phone would be developed.
 Feasibility study: In this phase it is checked weather the overall requirement which is
gathered is feasible or not.
 Initiation / Execution: In this phase the process of constructing is started. This phase is
important in the sector due to the reason that it marks the start of the process.
 Termination: This phase is marks the end of the implementation stage. In this stage
error detection can also be one of the factor which play an important role.
