Microsoft Announces the All New Surface Pro
The surface will respond to the global requirements with the all-new portfolio and will bring
new markets for the world’s most innovative production group: Microsoft.
City— July 3, 2019 — Microsoft Corporation announced the most flexible laptop of all,
the all-new Surface Pro: the next generation laptop system which will be the most iconic product
line in the market and will deliver the utmost versatile systems of the whole world. Surface Pro
will deliver the greatest iconic performance milestones & will deliver the long-lasting battery life
in the slimmest model till now. The battery life of Surface Pro will be of 12 to 13 hours, which
is pretty much more than the earlier line product Surface Pro 3 and will be more versatile and
lighter in use and handling. This will one of its kind product and will bring a revolutionary
milestone in the laptop product line.
Surface Pro is not just the powerhouse system is very mobile due to lightweight feature
and has the 12.3" PixelSense™ touchscreen display and inbuilt mobile creative studio with high
response to the new Surface Pen from Microsoft. With the double accuracy and touch sensitivity
of the new PixelSense accelerator and Surface Pen, the efficiency will set up new benchmarks in
the laptop and hardware industry. The Pen has the support features for all type of shading giving
more natural output and tilt3 response. The system will include Windows 10 and Microsoft
Office 365, a Whiteboard app enabling and bringing more creativity and productivity.
“With Surface Pro, we created a new category and challenged the status quo of the
laptop,” said Panos Panay, corporate vice president at Microsoft Devices.

The most versatile laptop ever
The new Surface Pro will be the output of the redesigning of the already existing
products of the same line and will be able to give an enhanced performance and almost half more
battery span than Surface Pro 4. The whole thing in this new laptop is redesigned and built from
the round and soft edges to the camera that has the ability to fade into the bezel. The model is
claimed to be one of the slimmest models of all time with 8.5 mm thickness and the weight will
be around 1.6 pounds which is even less than the weight of the bag the laptop is carried into.
The system integrates with a 9th generation Intel Core processor and quite a design.
The system is built to deliver the highest quality of the scissor mechanism and the keys
with 1.3 mm travel will allow the fast speed of typing. The laptop has this amazing full-size
trackpad made up of glass and will respond to the five-finger touch. The whole keyboard of the
Surface Pro will be made using the Alcantara®, which is a soft and durable material giving the
system an aesthetic and beautiful look and amazing palm rest.
Starting from the range of the $800, the Surface Pro will allow the user to customize the
user environment according to ease and new sets of colors. The system will come with new sets

of colors and new Surface Pro Signature Type Cover, which will be able to match the user's
personal style of use. The new system will be launched in the mid of the year and in the markets
including Spain. Sweden, Poland, Norway, New Zealand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Italy, and many
others. The company is allowing the customers to preorder the product from various platforms
like microsoft.com, BestBuy.com, JD.com and Microsoft store.
The company is looking forward to overtaking the market with providing the Surface Pro
with features like 13.5 hours capacity of the video playback, 8GB RAM, Intel Core i5, tilt3
function support, Core m3 version and the cross-section thickness across the entire display
system. The system will also the new inking system in the Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and
Excel including a customizable gallery having the favorite pen, highlighter and pencils. The
company is expecting a huge sale of the new systems from using the sale results of the same
series product in the year 2017 with almost 26 million customers of the Surface Pen every year.

browsers). The hardware that is successfully launched and sold by Microsoft are Microsoft
Surface and Xbox gaming consoles. The company was founded in the year 1975 by Bill Gates
and Paul Allen and now serves & known for its services worldwide.

After the successful release of the Windows Phone in the year 2011, the company started
towards launching more and more hardware and advanced software. The company also launched
Windows 8 in the year 2011 which was able to support both the computer and tablets. The laptop
series Surface was launched in the year 2012 and was the first ever computer of Microsoft
product line to have the hardware from Microsoft. Also, in the year 2012, the company started a
new email system known by the name of the Outlook.com which increased the competition for
Gmail.

Surface Pro and Microsoft
Started in the year 2012, Surface has been a very successful product line from Microsoft.
The first system was launched with the name Surface having the Windows RT 8.1 Update 3.
After that Surface 2 in October 2013 with OS support Windows RT 81. Update 3 and then
Surface 3 in May 2015 with Windows 8.1 update. This product line from Microsoft has been a
huge line of success and has a series of products launched in the years till 2019.

The Microsoft Surface is sequence of the Windows range of personal touchpad
computers that have user communicating whiteboards which are designed, professionally
developed and owned by Microsoft. The manufacturing of the Surface series for Microsoft is
done by Pegatron and are the best examples of the original equipment manufacturing. The
system when launched firs, received a positive response from all over the world.
Surface 3 having type cover
The 1st generation of the Surface utilizes a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 which supported the
ARM architecture and Windows RT. From the launch of Surface 3, Microsoft is shifting from
the use of ARM architecture to Intel x64 architecture which is also used in the Surface Pro line
of product of Microsoft. The Surface line products have the Wi-Fi only model but the new
system will support the cellular system. the cellular supporting devices of the Surface product
line has a micro-SIM slot placed next to the type cover connection ports which are in the bottom
of the system.
Overall, looking towards the new system capabilities of the Surface Pro and the sleekest
design, the system is supposed to bring a new revolution in the market of the Surface product
line and is going to be very useful for the people with creative eyes and work system. the launch

of the product is scheduled in the mod of the year 2019 and will set a standard for the laptop and
personal computer manufacturing and designing industry.
