INTRODUCTION
The reaction of the customers of the female cabin crew working with middle east airline
respond is that the people are totally in favor of it because it gives a light to people that there are
few society thinking which need to be changed and that is important. Females can be a part of
the cabin crew just like the men are there, and they will make a better difference for women than
men. Before middle east airlines was not going to give the cabin crew responsibility to women
but later they changed there decision because it is very important for the people to change there
mentality and give equality to men and women. In the further report it will be discussed how the
female cabin crew is treated in this industry.
MAIN BODY
How female cabin crew in the middle east airline respond to the attitude of others.
As per the view of (Byford and Wong, 2016) the company middle east airlines did not
have female cabin crew before because of the culture and society because they did not treat the
women equally. It is now that the company is being able to treat the female crew in the company
equally and give them their rights in the company which they deserved. The passengers did not
treat the female cabin crew so well then how would they treat the female cabin crew was a big
task which was supposed to be discovered by the company. There is a gender discrimination
which was taking place in the industry before because of the belief of the society but when the
women fought for there rights they got what they deserved. After the females took over the cabin
crew in middle east airlines the company faced a lot of profit and the people were very satisfied
with the services which were being provided by the company. It is still noticed that the company
was hiring people who looked good but had no skills of serving or doing things which would
satisfy the needs of the customers because the company did not work on those factors. Female
staff was also not that skilled, but they were taught the right skills which were expected out of
them so that they could make the company work better. The customers of the airlines was also
increasing because of the female crew which was added in the company which clearly because
the company used the right step to make the airlines work properly. The gender and social of the
airlines is very different from before because of the change which has come by getting the
female cabin crew in this department.
In accordance with (Liu, Zhang and Liu, 2016) the company is not being able to make the

female cabin crew in this department.
In accordance with (Liu, Zhang and Liu, 2016) the company is not being able to make the
better because they were not going to add the female cabin crew before and that was a major

drawback for the company and it was very important for the company to do that if the company
wanted to get more customers and also satisfy the needs and wants of the customers. The female
cabin crew did not know what the skills were required for becoming a member of the crew but
the employees who were hired were trained before they could fly with the company (McCooey
and Ison, 2017). Feature and skills of the employees made a great impact on the people of the
company because the company wanted to attract more customers and the company's thinking
was of taking fair and good feature girls in the beginning. This was unfair to the other female
crew or women who wanted to join this company because of their skin colour. Though now the
company only looks for clear skin in the females and that is still a kind of discrimination but it
does not make much of a difference for the people because if the employees are not getting in the
cabin crew then they are getting ground duties which is as important as the cabin crew duties. It
was the right decision which was taken by the other company's for doing this change in gender
for cabin crew because that has made the airlines gain a lot of profit in the company. Though the
change was not accepted much but now it is very much accepted and the females get a higher
preference than male cabin crew in the airlines.
In opinion of (Karatepe and Kim, 2020) there are categories made for the cabin crew of
the company so that they can make more customers get attracted to the company. There are
stereotype in this world about the female crew in the world and that is very important for the
company to remove these because it is after this that the company's will be able to work better
and make profits. The company wants to make the most from any way possible because the
company was not being able to pick up earlier in the market and this is not the main reason
behind it, but they wanted to do something different from all the other companies therefore the
middle east airlines was the first to get in the female cabin crew in the airlines (Wight, 2018).
The company also wanted to make a history and remove the stereotype in the market for the
females and the company will be able to make the most from it and the company will be worth it.
Middle east airlines took a great risk of the female crew coming in the cabin and that has
changed the airlines thinking in today's world. The customers in the first did not really like the
idea, but they slowly understood the importance of the female cabin crew and now they are
appreciated. The customers are also decent who are travelling in the airlines, and they also know
how to treat the female crew right and that is a very good thing for the company.

CONCLUSION
It is a very good decision which is made by middle east airlines that they are having
female cabin crew because they can understand the customers better and will be able to make the
customers feel at home and comfortable in the airlines. Breaking the stereotype was the best
decision for the company and now the company is doing good because of this reason. The
discrimination which the company has faced is also not good and the company has minimized
that factor so that there can be more women ready to take this job and will be able to make career
for themselves.
